Map of the Twilight Vale Unraveled (spoilers)

Would like to give a shout out to MrCow, for the map I used as a template to make this map here. I hope the letters are big enough for all to read (may have to squint and some), but the jist is there. I have found all the Explorer Points, that also include the Quest Entrances, and Alas!!! I have only found 17 out of the 18 Rares! GRR!! I have a suspision he is in the Northern Perch, but I could be wrong. Anyways, Here is a workable map for all to guide your guildies through the mysterious vale!!

Yogurt is my bard from khyber, that was a great time and the vale is a beautiful place.... even if it is a ways off, prepare to be wowed, it's a great wide open adventure area with nice new enemies, fun named encounters, and a great landscape. :D


The Vista explorer point and Brynleifur, enraged djinn are both must see.


P.S. Don't forget that Urs helped us out too! and that the named djinn that we had so much trouble killing because he just disappeared might be the last rare! (Nisha or something to that effect?)

You'll see it once Mod 6 goes live. (Or you can go play in it on Risia.)

I think Mad_B is right in the fact that this map does nothing for those who are solely on the live servers because such a place simply doesn't exist on the live servers yet. When this place exists on the live servers then it will be quite relevant in this part of the forum.

Everyday someone starts a post "When is mod6 coming? What will be in it?". They don't only start these threads on the Risia forum, most often they are started in the general forum. So a map of something from mod 6 in the general forum seems relevant to me.

Lauranthis tries to help and throw people a bone when they are always asking about mod6, and people come into the thread with "it doesn't belong here". If no one really cares then it will drift into the forum ether as no one responds. If it stays on the front page, then people must care or even see it as "relevant". Let the people decide.

Which rare named encounter are you missing? I found the last one about a week or 2 ago.
What's the missing entry in your log and between what others is it? (I'll take a look at the map later and compare)

P.S. Nishan doesn't count as a Rare atm and has no chest iirc.

Thanks for all the tips to where I can look for the final rare is!! Great to see some good / bad input to this map. I did try to rename the Thread as a Spoiler, however, it looks as if that effort didn't work. And yes Yougurt.. that Djinn was soo fun... my sorc felt like a school girl hopping around all over :D

Nishan atm doesn't count (prolly gonna be removed?)

P.S. Note level range...up to 21 gasp!


This may be to late but your unknown here is Halphire (Rabid Hyenna) :eek: And the locations is in the south edge of the map drawing a diagnal line straight from teh SE corner of the Merdia building. In other words the corner is pointing directly at the spawn point :)

Well this map is a great work, but really you should have post on risia or at least have an spoiler alert, this on take away the surprise element for exploring that area and wich monsters may encounter there. So as those are quest objectives (explorer/slayer quest objectives from the map). So at least advertise it as spoiler because there are many people like me that likes explore by myself and enjoy the game at maximum. I hope some moderator fix the issue with this topic.

I assumed Nishan was the missing rare since he doesn't register as a named rare on death and doesn't spawn a box.
Thanks to Smatt's pointers however I was able to find the real missing rare from my list , Halphire the Rabid Hyena (South of entrance to Meridia, uphill)
