A desperate plea to the person that got my stuff

I'll be the first to admit that this is all my own fault, but in my defense, I hadn't realized that this would happen.

I recently rerolled a character of mine. A lowish level alt I was working on, and I sent all his gear to another alt, Blayde. Well, it seems that there was a server merge, and Blayde doesn't really exist anymore (I'm assuming that someone else had that name already, hence the post). I sent the gear, and his cash, rerolled the character, and logged in to my Blayde, only to find that none of the items were in his mailbox.

I'm basically here to beg the individual, or anyone who knows the person that holds this character's name, to return the items to Lutien (my new alt, also the sender of the items originally).

The items I'm missing are

+2 Mithral Full Plate
+3 Mithral Tower Shield
Dusty Rose Ioun Stone (+1 ac)
+3 Adamantine Long Sword
+1 Heavy Mace of Deception
2 Raise dead jelly cakes
1 tenser's transformation Jelly cake
2 Wands of Cure Serious Wounds (50 charges and 42 charges)
1 candy cane
4 cupcakes
Dextrous gloves (+1 dex)
Charismatic Cloak of Resistance (+1 Cha, +1 resists)
collapsed portable hole
30,000 platinum pieces

I know some if it is just ****, but it was my ****. I also know that it's my own fault for not checking to make sure that my Blayde was receiving his mail. I'm hoping that someone will see this, and do the right thing.

I hope so too, Jebise! The folks here on Ghallanda are pretty cool so I'm sure Blayde will send you back your stuff (if he hasn't used it or sold it - and if he has then don't be too mad. He probably thought someone was giving it to him). Good news is, I have discovered lately on Ghallanda that there are many kind strangers willing to help you twink your lowbies without even asking! It stinks you lost your stuff but it will work out one way or another!

I have sent items to the my alt but mispelled the name several times. If no one opens that mail, it will bounce back to the original sender after 6 weeks. I know that is a long time to wait but hey, at least you get it back. I think this happened to me because the name that I sent it to was not an active player so it just sat in that person's mailbox until it bounced back. Good luck getting our stuff. I must say, in 6 weeks, you should be able to find all that stuff or better by then. It was still very nice when my stuff showed up in my mailbox.

Don't forget, you can send that person an in-game mail explaining the mistake and asking for the stuff back too.

LOL... already sent an in game mail, added them to my friends list, and petitioned... I'm just making sure that I have all my bases covered.

For the most part, people on Ghallanda are pretty cool about stuff like this. Way back when I was an active member of the community, this sort of thing happened every once in a while, and was usually resolved pretty quickly.

+2 Mithral Full Plate = Sorry I do not have this, but I do have some extra +2 steel full plate
+3 Mithral Tower Shield = I have a +3 Steel Tower Shield in the bank, I am looking for a +4 tower shield or better myself
Dusty Rose Ioun Stone (+1 ac) = No idea what this is, obviously it is a trinket, but I have never seen it
+3 Adamantine Long Sword = I have no extra adamantine weapons, (I even need adamantine weapons)
+1 Heavy Mace of Deception = I have something along these lines I can part with
2 Raise dead jelly cakes = Sorry, I will not part with any of those
1 tenser's transformation Jelly cake = I keep all those to, and I am not even sure what it does!!(make me be a different character type I think)
2 Wands of Cure Serious Wounds (50 charges and 42 charges) = I can part with one
1 candy cane = I can replace yours quite easily
4 cupcakes = I can send you those also, I currently have 48 of those in the bank

I thank you very much for the kind offer, but don't worry about it. For the most part, through some lucky loot pulls, and carefully playing the Auction House, I've managed to recover the items in question (although I still want mine back, they're valuable), without bankrupting Giaus (my main toon), and without drawing too much more of my Blayde's money. As I stated in an earlier post, it's things like this that make the Ghallanda server special, everyone seems (for the most part) honest, and willing to help out a stranger who happened across some poor circumstance.

The only item that I've not been able to replace is the ioun stone. I can't remember if it's a deflection or protection bonus to ac, and it's only +1, but every little bit counts. I'm sure that when the new Lutien levels up a bit more, it too will become obsolete.
