If you could only have one alt, what class/race would it be and why? Feel free to post builds or descriptions of builds. I would go with my Human Khopesh Paladin. Survivablity and decent DPS.

good question and idea for thread, as someone who plays 9 alts (8 currently capped) I would have to say Dwarf (32pt) fighter LG (for maybe pally spashing way down the road) ....dwarf fighters are viable in the begining in the mid game or the end game, decent ac to mac ac if you want, lots of feats, decent dps, can use and max out stunning blow and improved trip, lots of hp, easy to get favor (I mean at lvl 6 you should be able to solo all the harbor stuff) ........no question about it......although a sorc or barb are awesome in current end game not as much fun in lvling...

I would have to say my Rogue/ Ranger- Penifrancia
She has decent DPS, can find and disable most every trap she comes accrosed
and with the ranger splash, and her Dragonmark she can heal pretty good as well.
If not her, I think I would go with my Halfling Cleric - Sildehwen.

Tough call.
Would either be my barbarian or my cleric. Still getting used to the cleric, but I think once Im comfortable with him
he'll be unstopable. Although I do love my barbarian...both dorfs btw.

Besides not wanting to face such a Solomon like decision, I would probably go with my first guy, Jareko. Elven ranger12/rogue2. He can do a lot of things and can solo pretty darn well if needed. Brings a lot to the party. trap monkey (Cannot do Cabal Elite, but have done all else I have been faced with), scout, secondary healer and buffer, self boosts, good abilities in combat (ranged and melee).

Tough call. Real tough.
At first I just jumped to the conclusion of using a drow sorc. Uber-powered nuclear reactors are fun. :)
But, thinking more about it, I am thinking drow bard. Can fill many positions, and survive through tons of stuff. Control the enemy, rez, heal, buff your alies, umd anything that can be used. Working on a pure bard spellsinger with light repeater now. That'd prolly be my choice.

If I could have only 1 alt, I would of found a new game long ago...
but for the sake of discussion, I'd have topick my new Rogue Cleric. SHes quite fun to play, but could never see her being my main.

I guess my rogue1/sorc13?
I'd miss my barb tho. And my wizard. And my bard. And my sneakthief rogue. And ...

Try 2 accounts - no way to make that decision. I do still love to play my clerics, but my bards are lots of fun too. I'm also enjoying prepping my rangers for the new mod. And my rogues and tanks. Nope can't do it. Can't decide.

My Drow Ranger/Rogue was the first character I wanted to build (had to get favor first though). She isn't the best trapmonkey (but she can do about everything but Cabal and she can still loot that one for herself she just can't share), she isn't the highest for DPS and her ac can even suck outside of gianthold, but she is fun as hell to play.

My favorite character is probably my Drow Wizard 13/Fighter 1 (Kurzun)
He is pretty much a fully functional wizard (although his mana pool is a tad weak), but he can use finesse weapons very effectively and thus is quite usefull beyond just slinging spells. My only regret is he can't self heal very well.

My drow rogue (11)/paladin (3).
High UMD. Self sufficient. High DPS + 5d6 backstab. High survivability. High AC, high saves, decent HP. Fear immunity. Disease immunity.

My lvl 14 fighter named Brutous -
His back story would be that of a Karnathi soldier who was sicken by what the nation of Karnath would do those chose fallen soldiers- Mostly a fighter who only cares about his party and would gladly take the brunt of any fight-
Concentration on Swim, Jump, Intimidate & Heal-
Chaotic Good -
STR 18 Base
Dex 13 Base
Con 10 Base (ya I know he does catch the cold easily)
Intell 13 Base
Wis 8 Base
Cha 8 Base

I would have a very tough time choosing, but would probably have to go with my main Drow Pal 10/Ftr 2/Rog 2, Dual Khopesh, UMD=37, Evasion Blender. Insane DPS, Evasion, huge saves, top notch UMD, an all around survivor. Plus, I have already put 2 +2 tomes into this one.

My Lvl 11 Halfling Barbarian.
Slashing Spec'd using only Greataxes.
Weapons bigger than he, and that voice when rageing, too funny.
*Sidenote* Has an unusual name, I think thats half the reason he's invited to groups.
Made a duplicate on all 5 worlds, in his bio,
"There Can be Only One"
