hey

I have talked one of my room mates into starting DDO. He wants to start with a Warforged tank and I agreed to play a support character so we can (hopefully) two-man most quests though the mid levels. I was thinking of making his build a barbarian/fighter and my 32 point build a wizard/rogue I am taking any suggestions on either builds or tips in general.

I think you should go straight Barb for your tank. I know its tempting to go fighter for some feats but with war forged you will not get to wear heavy armor or anything, so what you really gain is tower shield and an extra feat or two. With a straight barb you get crazy dps with crit rage enhancements. Do what you want and have fun of course but think about pure barb maybe check out shades barb build. Just my 2cp.

i have 2 wf tanks. the original is a 8 ftr 6 barb. and he is one of the highest dps builds i know of. with wf you do not suffer the fatigue of rage, and the immunities help. as far as the fighter side goes focus on weapon specialization. my second build of this mix is in the works of a 32pnt with higher con and wis.

I recently posted my build for a shadow mage (pure wiz with enough stealth to sneak past most monsters). Currently, I am discussing details with nick_robinsonchia about a counterpart melee he is building. It will be mostly barbarian, with a couple levels of rogue. It will also have great stealth, great melee power, and is being designed to work very well with a shadow mage.

Keep an eye out for his build. I'm also going to try to make a vid to promote it.
