missing textures

my characters have no textures in character screen ...

and ingame most of the graphics have no textures either but flash the textures on and off

as a result almost everything has a silvery-white 'texture' the lighting still has an effect ,,,


i have tried multiple times readjusting the graphics quality in the options menu to no avail ...


please help me , i really don't want to have to re-install the game and do ALL those updates again ...

You might want to try and to remove and reinstall your graphic card drivers and or update them either way make sure the old drivers are completely unistalled before updating, also you might want to reinstall motherboard drivers.

If that does not work you might need to reinstall the game, unfortunately. The online download if I remember was not all that big, but it did take a hour or so with a 10/1 cable connection.

My only concern is that he sees SOME texture images, and they seem mapped correctly, whereas others simply don't seem to exist, or aren't assigned right.

I would consider a full delete/reload of DDO on your box, after making sure it's completely out of your system.

Checking for driver updates andMboard updates as well if that doesn't work.
