How can i relocate keymap/preference files?

Is there a way I can tell DDO to look somewhere else for the ddo.keymap and userpreference.ini files? I don't want them in my documents folder. I looked for an entry in windows registry but didn't find anything for that (where i looked).

No, there is no way to change this by default, however some people have been able to get it to save to the game directory by manually moving them there, you can try that but I cant guarantee it works.
