When do we get an interview with the Lord of Blades? I mean really look around Stormreach, the forged have a strong representation. What do you think?

Try a different location before you go looking for the Lord of Blades... like the Mournlands. :p

I know he mainly operates in the mournlands, but I am sure he has some information gathering networks. I know if I was a super powerful warforged king? I would be looking all over the world for capable recruits.

While the Lord of Blades is based in the Mournlands, as a GM you could have him travel anywhere if the reason is important enough. But, as he's the iconic leader of the WF in the Mournlands, it is very unlikely he would leave the borders due to having to not only the day to day activities of ruling his people, but also the fact his presence within his capital adds to the morale of those within the city and the mournland. (not an actual game bonus obviously, just the fact that wouldn't you have more faith in your safety and the power of your people if your iconic military and spiritual leader was just up the road with an army at his disposal.)
As for 'Stormreach', it is certain that the LOB has scouts within Stormreach and exploring the wilds of Xen'drik. There's too much lost power there to not have a watchful eye for signs of new weapons and items. I would imagine that the WF of the LOB are especially watchful for any signs of another creation forge.
Personally, my character Bloodclaw's history has him as one of those scouts. He travels with parties and is friendly enough with them in his own uncharismatic way so they either are willing to open up to him or at least talk freely in front of him. In actuality he is simply watching and reporting not only what he learns from his party and on his own during explorations, but everything of interest he hears discussed within earshot in the city. He is especially attentive when he's simply waiting for something of interest to happen in various taverns when the fleshborn are foolish enough to speak of important matters after ingesting too much ale. He relays his information to various messengers that arrive and depart with many of the ships that bring new adventurers to Stormreach.
As far as 'Stormreach' goes in game mechanics and storytelling, it is very unlikely he'll ever make an appearance in-game. The only thing I could fathom that would draw him to leave the Mournlands, much less the continent of Khorvaire, would be the discovery of another functioning creation forge. In PnP terms, such a find would probably lead to a rather large force of WF leaving the Mournland to assure that it is in their hands, and theirs alone. In 'Stormreach' terms, this would probably be represented by him being either the final quest giver in a raid series involving a functioning CF or the module/series would put you in a race against the LOB and his forces to capture or destroy a CF. In this case he could be the main villain, beating the party to the prize and activating the CF in order to replace the troops the players took out over the series of modules as they arrive to battle him for control of the CF.
*But that does make me wonder how interesting it would be if they ever programed in the ability for your favor with a certain group s effects aggro or if you could choose an allegiance upon character creation that would give you an edge in cetain missions. (like being a WF of the LOB in a mission against similarly aligned WF.)*
The Lord of Blades is an underground enigma... to most anyway. Of course some of my warforged may have brushed sides with him once or twice before they came to Stormreach. Some think that Bulwark, some higher up in Karnath, is leading a secret life as the Lord of Blades. There have been more rumors circulating about him around Karnath than any other location outside of the Mournlands.

I have to admit I'm thankful that DDO didn't go the route of Star Wars Galaxies after the NGE. The entire game changed in the sense that you never met any of the main movie characters until you had progressed a good ways into the game. They did sneak in various characters from books, comics, and video games as quest givers and NPC's when you are still first starting out, but these weren't as obvious if you hadn't read the books or played the games. As you progressed through the game you ran into more memorable characters from the movies/books that gave you quests. When they did the NGE, they made it so you met most of the major characters in the first hour of playing the game. It took away from the mystique and coolness factor of having to actually find them.
On the one hand, I'd love for a character or two from the Eberron novels (that could be justified being in Stormreach) popping up in either a tavern or on the street. It could add some flavor. But, only if they had a plausible reason for being in Stormreach/the game.

As a member of the Fellowship of the Golden Knight (for the second time,) I can attest to members of my guild (and I from a further distance) meeting this imposter of a god. Manifesting divine power does not make you a god. Ask any forged paladin. Even faithless clerics draw divine energy. Stay away from this being who tortured and mutilated a good friend of mine! And be warned that I as a being of law and good, will not look upon any who ally with him to harm others, even if humanoid flesh based!
OOC--This game is in Xen'Drik, so any notices of the Lord in game is almost nil, unles they make a multi release styoryarc like they did in the Necropolis. There, you may "travel," in one of the chapters and end up in the Mournlands to face him.
In good ole PnP, it's up to the DM to see if they can advance their story while working with their player's interest (where it even can be guaranteed a PC will meet the Lord of Blades.)
