sorry about how my last thread turned into a screaming match.i was only sugesting that a few more things colud happen. you gotta admit, the game is getting quite repetetive with the quests like" no one has survived this"," go into that dongeon over there", "go kill a bunch of kobolds", blah, blah, blah. and some of the things other ppl sugested like longer walkes to get to quests and things like that were realy good ideas, and turbing should at least consider them.the game needs these ideas, because less ppl are playing this( turbine will probably listen NOW) and less ppl want to go into partys because the quests are BORING! either get better ideas, and less repetetive kobold filled dungeons, or no one will want to play any more, and would rather play runescape.i think mounts would realy only be good if you had to go realy far out into mountains, oceans, and everything in the backgrounds that u cant go 2. u saw the last thread! the ppl in it who didnt insult the others had some excelent ideas, and turbine is in need of them!

I've payed this game for 2 years almost and I dont find it boring. And maybe you should get a character higher level so you have more to fight than kobolds. I LOVE THIS GAME!

I disagree, this game doesn't need 15 minute walks to get to quests, because you know that 15 minute walk to the quest would be sooo much different after you run it and thus killing the repetition that you are complaining about.

I could not disagree with you more. Excpet perhaps about your prior thread - which I have not read so I cannot judge.

Have you taken a character past fifth level?

I burn about 100k plat per month across all my characters keeping tport scrolls stocked. The LAST thing I want to deal with is longer walks and more load screens.
OP - As the previous poster suggested, if you're still farting around in the harbor, marketplace, or house quests, you're probably not a very good judge of this topic. Come back when you have a level 14 character and you may think differently. Come back when you have 3+ level 14 characters, and you'll probably be begging for shorter walking distances and fewer load screens.

You might want to post this in the Dev forum...........since it has nothing to do with Khyber

Here's a new idea: Get your character out of the harbor .. that's where the real questing begins.
Also go explore Searing Heights and the various other outdoor areas .. if you dare. You'll be wandering around for more than 15 minutes in the Restless Isles, I guarantee it.

So you probably haven't seen the giant zones like the Menechtarun Desert, Gianthold or the Orchard of the Macabre which pretty much fill your need "to go realy far out into mountains, oceans, and everything in the backgrounds that u cant go 2"
Also, AIM speak = bad.

Get yourself to some higher levels and venture forth into Gianthold or Orchard before you make judgments. Don't bring any friends either, just your lonesome self and see how far you make it in :p.
I know it can be frustrating fighting the same stuff over and over again, but you haven't seen half of what the game has to offer yet. When you get past 10 you will see what everyone is talking about, until then...keep smacking the kobolds.

This game is not like the only other MMO game I've played, WoW. I regard it as far superior. I learned some of my frames of reference from D&D in the late seventies and AD&D in the eighties, so a paladin in this game is exactly as I believe it should be, and I could not be more delighted with the flexiblity of character creation in this game, the difficulty of the high-level raids, the appearance and interaction of playing characters in this game, the level of maturity among the players (mostly :P), and the lack of time needed to devote to transportation from one quest to another.
Once you get your House P trinket, you'll not miss the lack of a mount much, as you'll move faster with the trinket and without a mount than you would have in another game with the mount.
I strongly urge that you pick one of your characters, level him/her up to level cap, and try some of the higher level content before passing judgment on this game. It's really the best game out there, in my opinion.
