Well I'm a new player and would really like to jump into a guild as that seems to be the way to have the most fun. Are there any guilds out there that accept new players and / or do newbie runs?
After perusing the forums im planing on getting a quick 400 favour, if thats possible, and running a Wiz drow.
See you in Stormreach and throw me an invite if you want a new player with a summer holiday to waste :P.

Well, I can tell you a bit about my guild and the few with which I am well acquainted.
The Mithril Hand: WF only, and primary spellcasting classes only. We are a fairly small guild. Some of us have multiple characters in the guild, most have character(s) in other guilds as well.
King's Blood: A fairly standard guild. Likeminded people who enjoy grouping together. Their leader is a nice guy likes the officers to do most of the leading; he likes to tak a back seat most of the time and just let the guild run itself. He was theone who first suggested the idea to me of running Warforged Nights on Wednesdays.
Beyond the Mind's Eye: These guys like raiding and laughing. The higher level guys in my own guild and I tag along on a lot of their guild raids. Their leader encourages members to have fun and tends to ask that guild members have thick skin and not let themselves get offended easily. They are very generous with gear to people to a point. If you give them the impression you are leeching off them, that generosity may disappear.
Tinted Faces: A fun guild. These guys also seem to like making fun of each other. They are very active on the forums and appear to have a lot of players with a high level of knowledge in the game. Bunch of them also participate in WF Nights.
A Universal Mind: Pretty much the most openly welcoming guild. Don't know these guys particularly well myself.
And this thread (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=125027) can probably tell you more about the rest of the guilds than I can.

Hehe i wanted to run sorcer x / paladin 2 but thought getting a feel for the spells, first, would be a better option.

I'm not sure what time zone you play in... But if you see one of my characters running around, send me a tell. I'll help you crank out the 400 favor in a little bit. (Assuming you haven't gotten it done already)

That's us! We accept new players, old players, and.... (don't tell anyone else, okay?) Canadians!
Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's back to DDO I go!
So I am coming back to the game, was on Ghallanda but this server seems far more active than that so I decided to start over here. (played at begining when max lvl was 10, had 3)
Anyways, I was planning on a warchanter, but without a 32 build I would be sad so I was thinking starting a random character to get drow and play that til 1750. (a class i might enjoy - yet to decide what) So i don't have to bother with 28 point builds.
How sad, my name is taken on your server. Anyways:
I'll be looking some of you up if that is acceptable. :)
