Pros: Great Melee DPS, Butter Zone DPS(High Enough to matter without any penelties for having it), Immunities, Strong saves, evasion, and completly proven. All That im showing here I have obtained, and the only real thing i havent aquired for the build is the titan belt, which allows me to wear a FL item(AKA 30 more hitpoints) and i havent yet finished his HP shroud item(another 15).



Cons: no 4th level spells, no umd, incomplete FE lines, no intimidate.

Mithril Body caps at a +5 DEX bonus, +6 with one feat of mithril fluidity. How are you getting a DEX bonus of 8 out of that?

Will the Chattering ring stack with Ranger barkskin? I thought they were both "natural armor", resulting in 3 from the ring and only 2 more from the barkskin.

Mithril Body caps at a +5 DEX bonus, +6 with one feat of mithril fluidity. How are you getting a DEX bonus of 8 out of that?

Also, chattering ring is a dodge bonus, which will stack with everything but itself.

Its a pretty simple build, but the endgame for it is nice.

The Seal of the Earth ring from the DQ raid is a +3 natural armor bonus. You might have been thinking of that one.

updated the build in anticipation of mod 6 changes

i really have to update the main post. Got him capped at 13/3 (was in a funk and leveled ranger instead of fighter by mistake, the main difference is losing Oversized TWF and fighters haste boost II, gains +1 ac and damage vs favored enemies.

Currently has

* improved crit piercing . It really is a toss up in general between scimitars and rapiers, but with my banishing and smiting rapiers, piercing was a better choice for me.

* improved crit ranged . With STWF not being available, and me down a feat, i had to decide which was more important, better ranged damage, or slightly better melee "to-hit". The increase ranged crit was a strong choice simply because of A) the bows i had already and B) the quests i run. WoP bow and transmuting of greater evil outsider/giant/undead/construct bane are a real asset in many quests.

* changed FE undead too constucts, because A) makes shroud farming that much faster, titan runs that much faster(all the tops in 20 seconds) and any other construct foe cake. and of course B) it makes me god in pvp against my all WF guild.

* 340 standing hitpoints, still need to find a few different items to bump it up another 20-30. Tho it seems high enough that i dont ever really die.

* 47 standing TWF ac, will be 50 as soon as i find a chattering ring(54 with shield clickie, 57 with shield)

* 30 standing str, 32 with madstone(with 5 pairs, its basically running 24/7) can hit 36 fully raged(at which point i gain 80 hp from the extra con)

Finally decided to update the build with the current incarnation. Great to have a fast reference for when people try to brag about wimpy monk AC builds.

If you are considering yourself perma-madstone raged, then you should reflect that in your AC calculations. -2 or a -4 is steep for a the Ranger builds and it should be a consideration. Just sayin :)

Madstone rage doesnt have an AC penelty. Infact it gives a +4 natural armor bonus if your not already barkskinned..which is nice when facing both beholders and melee enemies.
