So I got a new super pc im dying to try but I can't find my jewel case w DDO cd ...if i download the high res version will i still need my cd key??If so where can I find a replacement for it etc?? or will my user name/pw be enough?

I *think* the Activation Key is just for starting a new account. You should be able to download, install, login, and play!

Correct. The Product Key is only used for account creation. As long as you know your username and password, you are all set after you download and install the program.

You can't off the DDO website but i thought it was available on Torrent or something?

They also broke down the file into individual .bins incase you just need to replace a single corrupted download. It's #2 on the Knowledge Base (http://www.ddo.com/index.php?page_id=77&siid=30) Priority Items.

ok, i too have a new system

? 1, what is the difference between std d/l and hi-res d/l?

? 2, is the time factor any faster using the disk vs. the d/l?

1: I don't know the exact details but I seem to recall the high res version having the Ultra High graphics setting in addition to everything else.

2. Much faster, took me 3 hours to download the high res client and install the game, took me 11 hours when I last used the DVD, it takes a lot longer with the DVD because you have to download the updates after you install, the high res client needs no updates (at least it didn't before this past sunday when I downloaded it).
