Dudes! I get around!

Last night I journeyed back with my little level one sneak and was venturing...

I accrued a mosest amount of money and after attaining level 2, decided to seek out the auctioneer...with much cringing.

Low and behold, what did my greedy little fingers find?

Low level gear at reasonable prices!

Managed to pick up a +2 studded...very fashionable... for a 250plat buyout!
Nothing like that where I come from!

I have to agree that the market on Ghallanda is about the cheapest market out there. Items sell on Ghallanda for far cheaper than they would ever sell on my home server.

And do you know why?

Because 1/3 (Fernia, wooooo) of the server's players are loot w****s :D
We don't need to buy stuff from the AH, we loot it ourselves!

The majority of Argo is also, but there's OTHER reasons the market is so expensive, that have less to do with lack of looting and more to do with market domination. LOL.

Naw, we've always been easy on the pocket book, persay. Problem is we don't always have what you want in the AH and the majority of us are just to lazy to hit the tent for vendors

My little level 4...lol... rogue went looking for weapons...
Sadly she had only a few hundred plat and weapons always go for a little more than armor.

The prices were still reasonable. I saw 2 muckbanes posted under 100 plat...should have bought them but they had no buyout and I am not financially stable enough yet to tie up my meager fundage...

lol

I like playing this very balanced rogue with no twinking...

I did pull some sexy +2 full plate...I like to wear it and a shield when I am shield blocking and have no chance of inflicting damage...like in the end fight in STK..

I travelled a bit before finding my way to G and I noticed a huge difference as well. I find it to be a bit more laid back than the other servers. I know there are some hard core powergame types, but they must keep to themselves. As a whole, I'd say we're more about the fun than the loot. My guild is quite large and is totally about having fun, family first, noone telling you what to do etc. There are several other guilds like that as well.

Watch out, you may not want to go back!:eek:

Oddly enough, I actually remember that. Most of the time I'm not paying attention to general chat or even looking at the screen when I'm standing around. Most likely means I'm off with the baby somewhere or taking forever to load in.

I pretty much put anything worth anything in the auction house for low buyouts. There are exceptions, but in general I sell things cheap. I like to buy things cheap, so I return the favor. I tried to start a few underlings on other servers, but without older brothers and sisters there, I can't even afford +2 hide. It's nice to know that friendly players can come to Ghallanda and expect good eq and bargain prices. Yay!

well that was the way it was with me. I'm an old argo refugee, i traveled around the servers every so often just looking at the grass on the other side of the fence to see if it really was greener, lol.

Funny enough i found it to be very lush and green on lhazaar. So i stayed. Then at merge it just got better :)

Yeah we have the odd insane sale in the auction house (i've had some sell for huge sums i never thought possible after a 3 day auction,lol) but most of us put up realistic helpful priced buyouts.
