View Full Version : /Whisper: Hay guys only..
Just an FYI for any guys out there that need to get back points with their ladies, what with wife agro and all...
Feast of Love is a great date movie to melt your ladies hearts and it has lots of umm... "adult situations";) ;) to keep your attention.
Reminded me of A midsummers night dream.

I still pride myself in not being dragged to see Titannic. I hate chick flicks. :)

But what if the woman in questions prefers films with explosions, zombies and chaos in the streets?

It's much easier to send her off to see the movie with her friends, so that I may play DDO in her absence.

I think you'll find that doing that *too* often will give you a lot more DDO time....

First 'date' film I went with my boyfriend on was Devil's Rejects. He paid for the dinner and movie, I just had to pick the movie and it was one I was extremely eager to see. Considering his past experience with date films were things like Titanic or The Notebook, to say he was rather surprised is putting it mildly, and since then he does tend to crow with his friends about how he's yet to suffer through a stereotype chick flick with me.
Though he does still occasionally tease me over crying about Mr. Jingles in The Green Mile.

The guy who plays the lead in both of the movies is going to be playing Scotty in the next Star Trek Movie.

Here's how I manage my waggro.
Do my own dishes. Put my own clothes away (followed by calling her a slacker for letting me beat her to it.) Cook dinner once or twice a week. During ym coffee runs grab hera cup on the way. So waggro is mostly managed. It's kid aggro i cannot beat. Son askes me to hang and has those "puppy dog" eyes and it's "Sorry guys gotta go." However, I did find that a gameboy DS helped that a lot.:p
EDIT: After seeing my wife and daughter's indifference to the death of "Old Yeller" she don't get many chick flicks outta me.

I loved it, but then I'm a sucker for anything from the Spaced crew.
I strongly suggest with either Shawn of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, when watching them to sit through the trivia setting. It's amazing how many little things and ref's they slipped in on both.
