With the new character slots i would like to create another toon, but i have a problem. this problem is that i dont like to have two different toons using the same kind of weapon. That way none of them are competing for weapons, and i can twink them out easier. i currently have 4 melee toons. (fighter/barb/ranger/batman), they use BS,kopesh,ss/rapier, two handers.
need help thinking of another good build that does not use any of those weapons.
Thx in advance

Maybe it's time to venture into the world of casters?

Ranger with bows
Bard/rogue with repeater
TWF Barb with bursting picks of maiming
Elf TWF with longswords(sirocco?)
Dorf TWF with Dorf axes
Shuriken specialist?

TWF scimitar/kukri?
Dwarf w/ Axes (sword and board or TWF since u have a 2-hander already)
I also agree with blind skwerl if you don't have a caster already I would highly recommend one... its a whole new game on a sorceror

i do have a sorc, a bard, and a cleric. so i think the caster field is covered :)
i was thinking about that twf dwarven axe build. but i remembered that you get a -4 if you wield 2, what goes in the other hand?

my plan is a dwarf ranger that will use battle axes, handaxes, scimitars, kukri's, longswords, and dwarf axes... may be more. not sure
is a ranger the correct class for this?

I would stick with axes(dwarf racial bonuses to hit and damage via enh) and if you want to TWF then I would go ranger so you don't have to worry about meeting dex requirements to get the TWF feats.

YES. My 2brb/11rgr is a DPS machine!!! FWIW I will use 2 dorf axes at times, +24/+22 to hit at lvl13 (unbuffed) is great.
Trip and sunder go off all the time, 323HP, evasion (though I'm wearing MFP), rage + bowstrength = fun
Usually I'm the only one left standing, and I can take a heck of a beating (43 standing ac with barkskin and shield)
I survived for like 20mins in fleshmakers optional waiting for everyone to come back into quest, same in perdition against that freaking beholder...

Gol's build (easily found in Ranger forum) is best in my opinion for what you are looking for. You could easily modify that in your own way and get a good build.
