Another strange day...

So...

...a couple months ago I recieved a call from a very attractive asian lady saying, "you've been given a nice guy award... mind if I drop it off?"

So I say yes.... she arrives later with a $250 gift certificate and says it is anonymous.

Yesterday I get another call from a different pub/restaurant with a "someone left you a present here"

I show up today to get it and, it's a $175 gift certificate. Again anonymous.

Now I don't know, who, or why and considering my line of work... everything is suspect... but due to anonymity... I can't even chalk it up to a bribery.

Why not go to the pub/restaurant and leave a c-note with them for the person who left you the money.Go back a week later and ask if "she" got it.If it's a yes then go back to the bar and hang out often, you may have found a sugar momma.If they say no "he" got it never go back there again :D As far as the asian lady is concerned, maybe she works at a chinese food restaurant and was grateful you took care of the cat she liberated, and wanted to pay for some of the expenses.:eek:

As far as the asian lady is concerned, maybe she works at a chinese food restaurant and was grateful you took care of the cat she liberated, and wanted to pay for some of the expenses.:eek:

Or maybe the cat is still missing, and she brought some "extra" chow-mein they happen to have made that night...

Either way...your money ahead and have a rather pleasant mystery to solve, gratz!

Get 3/4ths the way there. Pop! Rear flat. Patch and continue
Hissss, thunk thunk thunk.

Smile.
Get in left turn lane at busy intersection.
Chink, whap whap whap
How the bloody? Stupid fraggin chain.
Pull out chain tool, fix chain.
Start the rest of the ride back to work.
See the guy who walks all around the area jsut waving at cars.
Smile again.
Turn into the work parking lot.
Hissssss.
