What are peoples opinions of these spells?
I've been experimenting with Shadowwalk as a way of running through those wilderness areas like Threnal, gateway to Khyber etc etc. Not bad but I think displacement, invisibility and haste might be more effective.
Also, is web still useful at high/end game? DC to break out is 20, which means a mob with 30 str has a 50% chance of getting free (+10 bonus, +10 av d20 roll). Er... if I've calculated that correctly... :)

Ya, unfortunately shadow walk was not implemented like in PnP. Well, maybe not so bad considering how easy it would make some quests.

I keep a few scrolls of shadow walk (11 minutes off scroll) handy for running around encounter areas. However, I would never mem it.
Web is still usefull. I see it used all the time to good effectivness. Just be sure to heighten it and carry an item with Conjuration Focus on it.

Shadow Walk: Useless
Web: Highly useful even in high level dungeons under the right circumstances.

Shadow Walk is the cool kids version of Displacement+Invisiblity+Haste :p
I got to agree, Web is still great. It's good to have CC spells that allow a different save type.
Web = Reflex = works on most mobs.
Hold = Will = works on fighter-types.
FtS = Fortitude = works on casters.

So the general consensus is: shadowwalk = not so useful. Web = still a winner.
The question is then: does anyone know what hide bonus and displacement shadowwalk gives? If I can, I'd rather cast one spell off a scroll than waste my sp casting dis/invis/haste, especially when running through gateway to khyber. Usually need all the spell points I can in the jungles.
