Can you start a new thread for this issue and include as much detail as possible? We'll need to know everything you can tell us to troubleshoot the issue.

i keep losing connection in the new quests, like a instant boot from the game but not a boot from world, first time i have ever seen it

the one quest this keeps happening in is inferno of the damned

at 1st i thought maybe my grapics are too high....so i turned it down to very low, and next thing i know im LD again, and again, and again

no clue why this happens, but my other members where experiencing the same thing, LDing in the same quest

Do you have a router or firewall? If so have you made sure they are correctly configured to play lotro? (info in the faq thread on how to do this)

Haha, funny typo.

As to the problem, I've seen it happen to other party members before (prior to mod5) when in busy quests during peak play times. Usually in GH.

My guess is it may partly be due to overloading the servers a bit as so many people were rushing in last night and hanging out in the new area. New mods tend to bring in alot more players at once than on most other normal playtimes, which tend to last for a couple days then things begin to get back to normal.

Keep in mind, if this is the case, that I believe on Monday they are having a scheduled downtime for server maintenance, which is not uncommon right after a new Mod for them to tweak the servers.

Sorry about that, I do support for both and made a typo -oops but are you still having problems disconnecting?

Also you said it drops you to desktop.... but keeps you in the game - do you mean it is getting your character stuck?
