Ya, I am very happy for this change. There arn't many damage spells I don't want ot maximize most of the time so its a pleasure just to leave it on instead of remember after watching your mana bar drop like a stone after a few FOD casts.

Now if I can just get firewall not to be extended... but there are legit reasons you might do that, especialy now that it's cheaper.

I advocate giving casters a metamagics page on their character sheets where they can assign metamagics to certain spells, and drag them to their hotbar for use like weapon sets. I didn't come up with the idea but I like it alot.

eh, i'd prefer a setup page where you can determine what metamagics you want to apply to what spells. so if you don't want extend to affect firewall, uncheck it and it won't.
