Limited to spells we can cast. None of which have any benefit from scroll because they are available on wands. The exception is Freedom of Movement from scroll, which Rangers can cast at level 5 (instead of waiting for level 14). The problem is that FoM scrolls are loot only and not available at vendors.

Edit: You could use a scroll of stat boost (Bear's, Cat's, Owl's) at level 1 when you cannot use the wand until level 3.
Likewise, you can use a scroll of Remove Disease at level 3 when you cannot use the wand until level 5. And scroll of Neutralize Poison at 5 when you cannot use the wand until 7. But, those are all very minor improvements and potions are readily available.
