5 Extreme Explorer chracters were lost in one day Junas, Botch, Gax, Ozra and Sweeney.
Below is an ode to Gax Ogrelslayer VII.:p



I heard you playing from the depths of despair
You songs were flowing like you did'nt have a care.
If I was rock it didn't stop you coming through

Reacting to the stench of current company
and now you understand its troglodytes he sees

And now we stand in a silent rusty nail.
We see the flashback and seems he was frail.
And you remember the sonnets mixed with ale

Seriously I don't know how you Perma-death guys do it.
I develop a sick sense of attachment to my characters, I couldn't imagine deleting one because he died =(

Cause we crazy like that!:p

I lost two characters on that day, Ozra lvl5 elf cleric and Gax lvl4 halfling bard.:(
And we like a hard challange.

One day I may decide to take my purse off and try extreme explorers. Until then, I tip my hat towards the true hardcore who play this game. My condolences on the party wipe. Kudos to those who play this game and treat death like death.

again ... If I am to delete "a" char every time he dies. I would make 100...(insert number of dots).... 000 times before I get out of the noob island

Everyone really should try permadeath, at least once. For the real permadeathers you don't twink, you don't cheat with plat and you don't use rez shrines for anything other than to rest. You can only be rezzed when you have a cleric (or umd character) high enough level that can cast the raise dead spell on you that is in the party when you die. My hat is off to Gax and his fellows, It's not an easy way to live and die in Stormreach... but the adrenaline rush makes it worth it.
