One of the last true founding guilds on Thelanis has opened their gates. If you are seeking a larger , stable and better experience out there for mod 5 , come join us. We are seeking to really charge hard for mod 5 and would like to bring in some more members who meet our standards.


Why join IRONWOLF?

We have a Guild site that has events on it constantly helping us to maintain a very active and goal oriented guild.

We have a ventrillo server that allows us to communicate constantly with each other over multiple channels for different questing and meetings.

We have some of the most experienced questers and most of us are hardcore dnd fanatics. Knowing what dnd is all about = having more fun without stressing over not knowing the game.

We run permadeath nights for those who like to bring the true roots of dnd to back to ddo.

Everyone in the guild has all characters in the guild which means more activity and a closer bond.

We have ran server wide events and usually twice a month have guild events.

What are we looking for in a member ?

Solid personality, mature and enjoys interacting with the guild.

Decent activity level and willing to post on site and use ventrillo.

Is excited about keeping a founding guild thriving in Stormreach.

Wants to move up and gain a status within the guilds ranks. Cares.

Is willing to bring in their crew of characters and be loyal to one guild.

More often than most, I catch myself utterly amazed with the animosity and dissension over an online computer game. Guilds are part of this game, I understand this, people are people, but a game is a game! There's is no reason to get personally vindictive against anyone over a com-link and animated imaginary worlds and altered egos and personalities. We our here to have fun, disagree like adults, but resolve those issues within the gaming mindset, like adults, don't make it a real life problem. We all have real life issues, this world is crazy enough. Listen, don't make personnel attacks against a person, or the people he employees into his guild, or they way he operates his guild. Utilize the options that have been bestowed upon you, leave the guild, hit the mute button, squelch a player; most people don't really care about your belligerent opinions. Choose a guild and live in whatever fantasy you want to live in. Personally I have been in a few guilds, like them all, liked the people, but I'm In "Ironwolf" to stay, I have a good time there, good hearted people. So take a reality check, concentrate on resolving real life issues, come and play D&D Online to relax and escape the rat race what we call the world today, keep the negativity in the privacy of your own home, don't contaminate our fun over some miniscule nonsense. I've been part of Ironwolf since summer 2006 and have always enjoyed the group. Certainly players come & go, but those that have remained are truly committed to creating a great playing experience for current and new members.

Of course the saying "you can't please all of the people all of the time" is true. Being part of a guild sometimes means you have to pass on something that benefits a fellow member more than it might benefit you. However in the end, you receive far more than you give.

So if you're looking for a guild that has great teamwork, helps you level-up, and works to find that special item that you just can't seem to pull yourself, then this is the guild for you.

Ok, I don't think you got it, and I hope Ironwolf did, but I was KIDDING. That is allowed every now and then, right?

Truthfully, you guys are an awesome guild and I have no problems grouping with any of you. If I ever decide to leave G.o.R.E., your's is one of the few guilds that I would consider going.

But then adding Griftor with Oddimus and Juni may be too many good rogues for one group. (Again KIDDING)

Your attitude shows your character to be one severly lacking moral fiber and intestinal fortitude. We all have things go badly from time to time, but the true Warriors of Distinction will fight through the difficulty and come out the other side better for having faced the flames and been refined by its heat, you melted. No refinement, no dignity, no social grace. All the qualities required to be part of a team that works together and shoulders the responsibility of caring for and protecting the interest of its fellow guildies. You need to face your own demons and learn to cast them out. Rid yourself of this self loathing and learn to be a man. Only then can you become a Wolf, one step closer to hold the honored title of Ironwolf Guildie. A family of distiction and character.
