If you use the Auction House you see these things up all the time for simply outrageous prices. Sometimes a 1/10 or even 1/100.

I finally broke down after collecting them for almost a year, bought some off the AH and turned them in.

In my most acrylic description, I got what could easily be called utter ****.

The Dragon end rewards can actually be better. I spent 6,215 tokens on the highest martial weapon choice. I also spent over 3k on a magical item choice.

So I guess this is a warning. Don't be duped by tokens on the AH. It isn't worth it.

My 2 pyreals.

Manny, I kept telling you the 6k turn-in was junk. You should know better than to question me by now. :p

Apparently the best 'pay off' is to take the items - cos they cost less and apparently you can get +6 items, but then you can get +6 items from VON3 so ... YMMV

I collect them only because I happen to be farming for an item out in the desert. Each item is junk that the collector gives you...

...from all the collectors.

Well keep in mind that it is possible to get a decent item from Masebi (sp?), but I have only heard of good clothing/jewelry from him. I was fortunate enough to check out his "Most exceptional clothing (3,750 tokens)" and had as an option +6 strength gloves. Not the best item in the world, but still at least worth something.

Now your results may vary, and I can't draw any conclusion just from my experience, but he may have something decent. I have heard of similar experiences from others (+6 stat items), but I don't think I've heard anything good about weapons. Just something to keep in mind for next time.

Stupid bronze tokens...

Recently handed some in myself to get the highest level of jewlery, and most of it was min lvl 7 and 9 junk, nothing good at all.

You know if I pulled something like that in my d&d campaign, my pc's would have murdered the merchant and left his corpse hanging from a tree as a warning.....
