Has the drop rate changed recently? I had to gicve my last 3 away because no one would buy it and now I'm seeing it on the trade forums... as a trade only item...

Our SOP in Iraq was if we got shot down, we'd use our M-16's until we killed a couple of insurgents, then grab their guns and haul ass.

Cause our backup, that 9mm pistol is about as effective as using harsh language and spit wads.

AK's on the other hand you can beat the tar out of and they'll still fire, but they're not as accurate to a point target at distance as a -16. Well, so what, they're full rock-n-roll. None of the aenemic 3-shot burst stuff. What kind of tree-hugging "oh they're good people but misguided" moron thought up that idea?

I'll take a Russian-made AK or an Israli made UZI anyday.

you gave em away? well hey if you want i'll even pay you for the next one you pull. Locs could really use that when he finally gets leveled up. much better to have +10 hide and move silently on 1 item than to have them taking up two item slots.

it is rare for those of use who don't get to play the game alot and when we do can't/don't want to do endless loot runs. I mean I have run pop around 15-20 times or so and never pulled a named item. So its people like me, casual gamers, who would save up their money to buy such items.

I don't know if there is an easy way, but quote the first one, reply as you want, but do not submit. Copy all and then go back, quote to second post, paste in the first above second quote, move below second quote and type away...

I think it had something to do with soldiers getting full auto jammed with the original M16 back in vietnam. Friendly fire and all that jazz. That and the tried and true practice of controlled fire is better fighting practice than spray and pray.

Sure the AK is alright. But something about having to lead my weapon to the target just leaves a bit o' salt in my mouth. If I had a choice between the two, and only these two, for open warfare... M16A1 handsdown. For CQB? I'll take the AK.

But to be quite frank there are better weapons then both of 'em for either situation. The AK is a nice cheap, easy to maintain weapon that any r-tard can be taught to use within reason. That's the only appeal behind it in my eyes. And the russians tend to aggree with me on that one. ;)
