any higher level quests atleast level 12+ usually has a possibilty... all the same chance... just depends on your luck as a player..!

In theory they can drop from the Giant Caves. Cause the caves are level 11 quests on elite. Most people usually forget that even though +5 MFP is really sought after its only ml 8 required. Thats why you dont usually see normal +5 MFP out of the gianthold. Since the giant caves are so easy to run I would say that is the best place to look for them.

Got myself one from normal Foundation of Discord last night :-). So they do drop in Gianthold.

I'd recommend running quests that are level 9-11 elite, 10-12 hard or 11-13 normal. Basically, anywhere that you see other 'clean' +5 items (i.e. +5, no other mods like +5 heavy steel shield) drop. Best of luck!

Loot is scaled down in the chests when you are running lowbies in a high level quest. Only thing you can count on being high level when doing that is the end reward. If you're running 7-10 toons in G-hold most of the chest loot will be 7-10.

Basically you need to be in any quest that drops Level 8 or greater armor. Then pray you roll +5, and pray harder that you roll Mithril. Mithril doesnt drop more or less often in any quest than in any other. You just need to make sure you generate L8 armor. Lol or L6 rr.

I think youd be better off just trying to farm something like a Bloodstone or a Spell Storing Ring and trying to trade for the MFP.

Good Luck, Mu!

Any level 8 chest will drop +5 fp... the chance of it being mith is just another random factor. Level 8 chests exist in level 10 quests. So yes anywhere a +5 fp can drop - the metal does not effect the level.

I have been playing forever it seems and have yet to pull a +5 mith fp. I have three +4's two of which friends gave me ... they came from threnal east elite (+4 mith FP) and wiz-king elite (+4 fireguard mith fp of lesser fire resist) . The third one I pulled from xc on a normal loot run.
