I want to make a new warforged barb and I want some extra feats from fighter ... My plan is to make a 2wf barb that duel wields bastard swords ...
my srarting stats were
16str +1str tome = 17
16dex +1 dex tome = 17
17con +1 con tome = 18
How many barb levels should I def take no matter what to get the most effective dmg dealer I can get ... the only feats I care the most about are TWF, Imp TWF and GTWF, and toughness ... will I be able to do that with all barb char or will I 100% have to put a level or 2 of fighter in the mix?
Please dont reply with just reasons why you dont like duel wielding bastard swords lol , it is just an idea I want to try thank you ... please give advice on the number of barb or fighter levels to be most effective .... thank you ...

You need to take barb up to 14 for crit rage 2. And iv said this about almost every new build people post but toughness isn't worth it, you will have close to 400 hp without it. Do you really need 500 hp so the cleric can keep up? Instead you can take power attack or bastard sword proficiency.
For the stats I would start with 18 str 16 dex 16 con, I would use dwarf instead, and duel wield dwarf axes. The only real advantage to wf is there power attack enhancments.

OK thank you for the advice! That is exactly what I was looking for. I guess toughness isnt really needed then! I dont like dwarves and I already have a crapload of high end Bastard swords so that is one of the reason I picked that ... I cant even roll a character with 18str, 16con, 16dex lol ... I dont have a 32 build open yet ...

If you don't have 32 point go 17 str 16 dex 15 con. Unless you have a +2 tome ready for that toon or want to base a toon on a small chance you will loot a +3.

You also want Improved Crit: slash and bastard sword proficiency.

If you are dead set on 1) Warforged, 2) TWF, 3) Bastard Swords -- then you're pretty much going to have to take at least 1 level of fighter. At a bare minimum you want these feats:
* Exotic Weapon:Bastard
* TWF
* ITWF
* Improved Crit:Slashing
* GTWF
You'll miss out on the level 14 barbarian enhancement "Critical Rage II" - which is a nice one. But, not build breaking. Just pick it up next time the level cap increases.
Toughness is a very good optional feat, but not sure I'd take a second level of fighter to get it.

I think you could live without bastard sword proficiency for 5% more crits but that depends on if your having problems hitting stuff or not, with the next mod crits are usless against undead anyway.

You should have 5 feats to use anyway with a 14 barb, should be enough.
Just don't take a body enhancement. You aren't going to have a high enough ac to worry about it anyway if you are dual wielding.
so you can take -
Bastard sword proficiency - Level 1
Two Weapon Fighting - Level 3
Improved Two Weapon Fighting - Level 6
Improved Crit Slash - Level 9
Greater Two Weapon Fighting - Level 12
So there are you basic feats.
Like I said don't worry about your AC, it isn't going to be high enough to tank while dual wielding anyway. :cool:
