Thelanis Ladies Nights!

Based on the success that we have experienced thus far with our all (and ONLY) Ladies Raids, I thought it would be helpful to have one link to go to for every raid that is being planned. The beautiful ladies of Thelanis have enjoyed several raids:

Due to the popularity of Mod 5 being released, Erda and I have been unavailable to run any ladies raids for the moment. We apologize sincerely, but as you know, we are in IFV, and Shin is a slave-master - so you can take it up with him!

Had so much fun playing with you tonight. I am enjoying getting to know you and I'm glad we were able to do them on favor also!!!

As far as the friday raids--- I don't think there is really any problem doing them on elite either. I truly think that if enough people want the favor we can do it, if the party feels comfortable with it. There are honestly not a LOT of differences in the forge core (the actual boss fight) from normal-elite IMO, and the Forge itself, is no harder enemy wise than what we fought tonight. So why not?

I am encouraged that we are getting other ladies pointed in our direction. For any men that happen upon this thread and see that it is a positive thing for any women in your life that also play DDO, please point them in our direction if they want to try something different and make friends with some of the other women on the server. Questing with other women can REALLY make a difference for some and their enjoyment level of the game.

On the up side, it seems as though we are going to increase the frequency of these events. Luckily, the Titan and Reaver do not require repetition of pre-quests just waiting out the timer. Marilith would be a fun one to do, as many do it infrequently but is really quite enjoyable in my opinion. Maybe this would be upcoming!!!

I would be upset if you didn't join us! :) You don't have to attend EVERY raid, of course. Just so long as we know you're female ... and we do! hehe

And you guys can play whomever you wish. It always seems to turn out ok in the end. For the TS run, I was the only cleric, but luckily you ladies gave me about 20 wands (I'm not joking), Decadence (bard love ftw!) was able to use raise scrolls, and our pally used LoH a few times to save the day. So no matter who you decide to bring, it will always work out in the end!

I had to go help my grandmother with a couple things yesterday, which is not exactly somewhere I can pop off with, got to go - got a raid starting in a half hour! Well, at least without getting the whole "you mean you're almost 30 and you're still wasting your time with those games" or the "I've read about those games - that's an addiction isn't it?" lectures. In fact, pretty much anything I could have come up with to get home sooner would have met with a lecture, so I decided to just skip that and get home when I could. :D

However, I still had a good time!

It was interesting observing everyone working together. Been a long time since I've ran that quest with a full 12 mainly because that's just WAY too many people to coordinate in there, but everyone did great....even stayed alive for the most part lol :p

And now there is one SCARY looking halfling running around Stormreach, as well as one with a really 'hawt' new dress. And I get to add another notch under Titan kills :D

And Kashka, I loved yours too because of the great action shots. I was cheering for Sprue as I watched her jump across the floaty pathways.

I think it's fantastic that the raid was so popular the group filled in 5 minutes. If only we'd been able to include everyone who wanted to go. And no (!!!) I'm not complaining that I had to attend the "usual" Titan run with my guild instead because the ladies run was full. Congrats ladies!

I am sooo bummed that I couldn't make it :( Maybe next time. It looks like everyone had a ton of fun. I just ran a TS raid on Sunday with my guildies - let me tell you - it was no where near as much fun as when we ran it the Tuesday before.

Woot! We finished a Mid-level TS run on hard in record time! The Ladies of Thelanis rock! ;) Unfortunately, we had to change from the planned Dragon raid to a TS raid because a lot of us weren't successful in getting flagged. But that's no big deal, we can try it again sometime!

Is ladies' night on hold?

I hate to say but it is for me. We (The Rebellion) just merged with another guild (The Wicked) AND swallowed a third smaller guild (Critical Misfits). And that is in addition to the new content and the raid loot changes.

It's going to take a while for us to get everything running smoothly again. Just got the website updated, we are working on the charter now.
