I am trying to decide if I should take the toughness feat again or should I work on increasing my dr. I already took the toughness feat once and all the enhancements. I also have take then enchancements for dr as far as I can.

Is DR of 1 more really worth a feat?

a little bit more info about the build would help us to help you.

Good point. Evad is a fighter, who likes to swing two handed weapons as often as possible. He has no friends who are WF, so is forced to play with the lesser races. Evad hates to die and has been know to scream many many bad words when dead, but still he prefers to fight with two handed weapons. He is also not very smart. At level 7 he has 135 hp and a dr of 4, soon to be five when I get another action point. I also took fighter expertise, not sure if that was a great idea or not.

Ive always thought DR is more important then HP. Especially if you already have Toughness and the Enhancement maxed.
DR is always a good thing, and saves you more in the long run. Moreso then an additional 14 hp is going to do.

If you already have a tougness feat fo with the DR. The toughness enhancements dont stack with multitoughness feats so its not worth picking up more then once. DR will save you a lot in the long run.

DR 4*100 attacks doing 10pt damage each is 400 damage advioded

DR 5 *100 attacks doing 10pt damage each is 500 damage advioded. Thats a big differance.

Pardon my bad spelling.

The Question is what really hits for 10 pt of damage these days???? I would say most mobs hit for 20-40 on Elite in a lvl 16 Mission... Unless it's Madstone... then its what.. 50-60 non-crit??? Also what's 100 hps saved when a Cleric Heal does 399 hps??? for 45 SP...

The real idea is "not to get hit" < DR

But if you have a SP sponge AC (aka 45 or less) then i guess do what u can... ;) Honestly 1 DR even 5 DR is a joke... the cleric would never notice it while healing u....

DDO is not like other MMO's where Raid Boss fights last extended periods of time... where damage reduction makes a significant different... 99% of DDO is running Elite Loot run missions... were mobs die in 2-3 seconds once engaged... where SP sponges like typical barbs get in trouble is when they aggro 5 mobs (gotta love those glancing blows for aggroing mobs) hitting for 300-400 damage a second collectively and because they got a laughable AC they are getting hit on every swing... so that 5 DR might save u 30-40... unfortunately HEAL has a cool down... so for a Barb his HP's are his AC since he might live long enough via a Huge amount of Hps for the cleric to recast Heal.

Now if the Barb hits DR Boost say they have DR Boost IV then suddenly they have DR 15/- and instead of taking 30-40 per hit 15-20... so now Barb takes 150-200 a mear flesh wound to their 500 hps raged... cleric casts heal @ about 100-150 hps... all mobs are dead... cleric tops off Barb at end of fight...

Hopefully Barb as at least Blur... Displacement... so IMO no DR Feats are not worth it vs... Barb DR Boost

PS: If Evad wants to be a WF 2H Weapon user... reroll as a Barb :) at least then your DPS might compensate for your lack of AC :)

The only problem with that is that clerics don't heal wf for the full amount. Since you only get 50%, unless you take the enhancements, anything that keeps you from taking damage is a good thing.

Clerics for heals? Bah. Appears you need to befriend an elusive Warforged Sorceror or a more fairly common Warforged Wizard.
