A little build help please

Hi everyone, I am kind of new to online DND, but have been gaming for many years he he. I am looking to make a 28 point build (starting a new world) Fighter !!! as my first character. I am not all about having the best def, or att . I would like a good fighter in the classic table tops sense.
PS , as I am new to the game i still haven't figured out all the abbreviations everyone uses. I have looked for the builds that are links on other postings and they show as a dead link ?? Anyway thanks for the help everyone and good hunting!!

hehe, the devs screwed up a while back and lost a bunch of threads, hence there are a fair few dead links, well you've done the first step right, asking on the forums, hope people will come help, i usually would put in however i am yet to succesfully make a good fighter for some reason.

Not for a person's very first build! They will have to understand mob placement and timing to do it right.

Not to mention, for the AC your going to want to have eventually to be able to handle the aggro they are fairly upper-end gear dependent.
