Ladies Night redux

In celebration of Lizzy's newest dragon slayer how about we schedule another ALL LADIES RAID?

Jaggie and I were discussing this Friday morning and it turns out that she hasn't gone up against the Titan yet.

So how about it Ladies - does a Tuesday Night All Ladies Titan Raid work for everyone?

ooooo I wonder how mad Brookiebutt would be if Dallie lost her Titan cherry with the ladies...hrm I'll be there with one of my girls. I prefer it be Dallie, since Jaggie is new guild leader for the Fellowship of the Golden Night, she's the beez kneez, and that would be just perfect!

This would be a lot of fun.

I will say... Server lag has been affecting many of the raids lately in a negative way, even to the point of experiencing non-completion, and this raid is especially vulnerable to the visual lags. With that in mind, I believe *???* that Monday's downtime is supposed to be helping this a little bit? Cuz it's getting REAL bad.

There are 3 prerequisites for "The Twilight Forge" and "The Titan Awakes":
-Hiding in Plain Sight (Harbor, same place as Bawdry Cartamon quest, Questgiver is Inquisitive Ingram in the Lobster)

From the Spire in the market, the airship takes you to Restless Isles, where you find the other 2 pre-quests:

-Slavers of the Shrieking Mines
-Bring me the Head of Ghola-Fan!

These two are slightly more complicated due to the sometimes confusing instance you have to run through to reach the quest and questgiver. However, once you do the quest once, or at least talk to the questgiver once, you can teleport to the quest from that time on. Yay shortcuts!! From each of these quests you receive a half-sigil. Upon completion of both quests, speak again to the NPCs in the Restless Isles, and one of them fuses the sigil together. It looks like a little coin in your inventory. You MUST have this sigil in your inventory to gain access to the quest, so don't throw those little half-coins away! The fantastic thing about the Titan is that once you do the pre-quests, you don't need to re-run them a la von 1-4 to do the raid again, just wait the 2 days blah blah hours and you're golden.

If you need any help completing a pre-quest for this raid, just give a shout out to any of us in IFV *yah ladies I'm volunteering us!!* (My alts are in my siggy) or I'm sure any of the ladies from the previous raid would love to help get others ready so we can do this one together. :)

If there are enough people who need a pre-quest, I'd be willing to do a pre-requisite run together to help take that headache away. A post here on the thread or a PM can help get that in motion.

A final thought: Unlike VON, there are probably far fewer people who know the puzzles in the Titan. Some of us have been trying to learning after months of being shuffled aside or someone else always taking the helm or never showing anyone else how to do them. If you already KNOW one of the puzzles it'd be great to know that going in, so we don't get to the underwater wheels and start scratching our heads.... :D If you are already a leader in one of the puzzles a post /pm here would also be GREAT!!! Girl power.

Hmm... is Tuesday, Sept. 11th too early for this or the 18th, to give people time to do all the prerequisites that need them? Preference? How about the time of the last one? it seemed that 8 p.m. central worked for almost everyone. a 1 1/2 hour block should be PLENTY as the actual forge itself doesn't take that long to run if the puzzles are taken care of.

What do the beautiful ladies of Thelanis prefer?

Awww, and Jaggie is new guild leader for FOTGN!!! Congratulations!!! This is very good news for your group!!! Hope to see everyone again, just post what you prefer and maybe we can all come to some sort of consensus. We were pretty good at that last time, I thought. :)

:-) There... IS... a way... (If the group isn't full just come along :-)) I would think it'd be super fun coolieo to get this on Podcast. I think the overwhelming feeling last time was that it was smoothly executed (fastest Velah kill I think I've ever seen), no drama, and everyone had fun. Many got to try new roles for the first time, which is something I am a big advocate of (Kiting, puzzles, etc.)

Got 6 flagged, three of which I'd be willing to bring. I'd prefer to bring either a cleric or a ranger, but I can bring my caster if needed.

Me and Tuesdays don't get along to well. I get off of work at 8pm central (10 pm my time) and work the following morning at 6am central. Either way, you know I'll try may best to make it, no matter what day, but don't get mad at me if I fall asleep at the keyboard. ^_^'

Thanks for all the congratulation's, by the way, for my new role in the Fellowship. Please give me a swift kick to the head when I do something more stupid then run into a room with a beholder in it, while welding a wand and not wearing a deathblock. wait.. umm.. please don't kick me.. :x I do things like that a little to often... :D

I have a lvl 8 ftg and lvl 7 bard that can participate in Tempest Spine.

Well I was sorely disappointed that I had to miss the last one, but my daughter is in school now so I should be able to make this one. Eight PM CST is 10 AM Tokyo...shouldn't be a problem at all.

As for the Twilight Forge, I know the purple side very well (can navigate both the traps and the underwater puzzle). I've also led once on the green (tile puzzle) side once and while I may be a bit slow, I did get it right the first time without any screwups.

The Titan itself I know pretty well too but would rather not run that show (I seem to be bad at explaining things).

I'd like to bring my rogue/paladin Ardency if at all possible but can bring another if necessary. All my L14s are flagged but can help others flag if you shoot me a tell in game.

I think I should be able to make this one - forgive me though if I am doped up on percocet!

Moiyra is titan ready and I know the purple side pretty well - we skip the red underwater part so if you want to do this the complete way (and not the fast zerg way lol) I will have to defer the puzzle and the underwater to some one else!

Then do Titan in a week or so on the weekend? Friday or Sat? I know many of us have other raid commitments or at least availabilities on Friday/Sat but this is so much fun it'd be my 1st priority on whatever night you would like.

If Tues. would be choice for TS run tomorrow... does someone want to take the reins of that? I would love to bring my 9 ranger. What do you think? It just seems that Tuesday is a weird night for some, and really there's no NEED to do it then if it means a weekend would leave more available?

I will volunteer to round up the troops. I will be on my 9 ranger, Inconsolable, member of Infamous Flaming Vagabonds guild. Please see other characters in sig if you need anything else before 8 central!

(It's really helpful if you shoot me a /pm in game to TATOTOT or here to my forum name if you are interested in coming, I put together a prelim list so I know which chars to start looking for once quest time rolls around. Once I make contact with everyone who's "RSVP'd" I'll put up an LFM for ladies only.) This will also help us network and get some people connected who need to get the Titan pre-quests completed! :)

Hello all, my wife was part of your raid on Tuesday (Metz)!!! And yes that Pally is a Male Toon. (Made that toon on Xoriat last year, and forgot about him until our recent merger, she adopted him) :)
