Wasn't there a discussion about the non-existence of this type of item earlier? There appears to be one for sale in the AH. Its been up for a while it appears, so this might be old news that I'm just getting up to speed on.

Anyway, thought it was interesting.

Bid stands at 20 Million gold.

I remember the discussion about slashing banishers...

I do not recall doubt over the existence of piercing smiters...I have at least one meself.

I believe the bid is probably 2 million since you cant hold more than 4ish million ...

the limit is around 4.5 mil PLAT...not that I have that much :(

Thats 4 million plat, not 4 million gold, 4 million plat is 40 million gold.. 20 million gold is only 2 million plat and yes the one on AH is at 20 million gold

My Ranger uses a Smiting Rapier. It ROCK Vons 4 :)

They definately exist. I had one myself, which I traded for a Smiting Falchion. Being able to smite on a 14 when raged is absolutely fabo.

As much as I like my Smiter, I wouldn't pay 20 Mil Gold for it. Even if I did actually have that much, which I don't.

I have a piercing smiter (dagger).

So they do exist. I've seen a couple daggers of smiting on the AH and in here.

no, thats slashing banishers, piercing smiters are nothing special
