OK this is pretty unecessary and trivial, however, I would love to be able to view my all time kill count. Compare it to others, etc. etc. Can we implement a permanent all time kill counter, deaths, and playtime counter (Hours logged). . on the character sheet? Or if anyone has another spot they would suggest?

Kill count in this game really only reflects the number of "last hits" you got. Is it really your kill if the sorc does 99% of the dmg then you come in and take the last hp??? It would not be an accurate count. Another scenario would be a lvl 14 ftr running kobold assault time after time to boost kill count. It's artificial, and inaccurate.

I REALLY do NOT want the number of hours I spend on this game there for me to see...

Number deaths also makes no sense. Someone who is the first to enter every raid to figure it out will have many more deaths than someone who hit 14 without ever doing a high level quest. Someone who does a lot of solo runs might have a much higher death count than somene who runs only n packs.

All in all, the only thing it would do is create a number of inaccurate stats that people can brag about, irritating people who know better.

My idea is for reference purposes only. Only the operator would be able to see the numbers. I agree kill count would be inaccurate but it would give a ball park range especially when soloing. The devs could implement a commandline /totalhours, therefore you would never have to see it if you didn't want to. Death counter would be pretty accurate. I would argue that dying is a part of the game no matter the circumstance. Its your choice to explore and run a raid and die more. Your count would reflect that. However, since no one can see it except the operator, it's for reference purposes only. People could share their numbers or brag, but thats their choice. And it's your choice to let it irritate you. I believe EQ2 has the totalhours feature and many muds have these types of counters.

Hmm completely useless. Let's not have one and get rid of the current quest kill counter.

Instead of kill count make it a damage count "you have done XXXX amount of damage to kobolds" or even you have Died X amount of times. then give Badges that you can wear like they do in COH/COV the badge will have no actual benifit to you beyond having bragging rights.

I would rather see the following counts but they too are flawed not as much as the kill counter though.

- Total Damage Dealt in lifetime
- Total Healing magic applied in lifetime

I would much rather see them update the kill count to judge based on most damage dealt to the mob than the current last hit scenario.
