No ninth char slot

After coming from Mabar to Argonnessen I noticed that I did not get my ninth character slot, I have 1750 favor on Mabar, do I need to get that on Argonnessen to open up the eigth and ninth slots?

Current character slots is 5 base + 1 drow favor + 1 1750 favor = 7. Mod 5 will add 2 more base slots for a total of 7+2 = 9. People who currently have 8 or more slots have them because of an old game error. It is not possible anymore.

You aren't supposed to have 9 slots.
You get 5 at start, 1 for Drow, and 1 for 1750 favor.

There was a bug were players were getting more than 7 slots. I'm not going to say how it was done, and I suggest you don't either as Turbine has threatened bans over discussing it in the past. Suffise it to say, I know how and you know how as you had it unlocked.

Turbine decided not to cut the extra characters made in those slots, as it was a mistake on their end and not ours, but I would guess if you didn't already have a character created in that slot before the merge, you were cut back to the " legal " allowable slots.

Two additional character slots! Each account will have 2 additional empty character slots on each world. By default, you will have 7 character slots. If you have unlocked the drow, you will now have 8 character slots. If you have unlocked the drow and 1750 favor slot, you will have 9 slots. This gift will become available when Module 5: Accursed Ascension goes live.
A free dragonshard! Appropriate to your level, per character on any non-trial account. Your dragonshard was placed into your inventory during the Module 4.2 patch on Aug 23rd.
