Got bored and decided I should solo it just to prove to myself that I can. Not sure how everyone else is doing it but a little tip that may help you is after you use the 12 oclock pillar spot to initially get the charge, what I did was jump around the edges of the map avoiding his lightning balls he threw at me that could potentially take away my charge. Once he went to light a balls if I got far enough away from him he would bug out and quit following me.

I would then kill the elementals, scorching ray him to get him to light more balls, and when my charge was lost again i'd lay disco balls and firewalls at the spot and get another charge while taking down his health.

Once I obtained flight I layed 3 max empowered extended firewalls on him and flew to the lever and back. he died shortly before I hit the switch. I got a really easy puzzle which is good because I suck at doing the puzzle haha.

I ended up having to drink a major mneumonic to cleanup after completion. Heres the screenys showing the time of 20 minutes(slow I know) and the person in party was my witness flogar on his tank arsenos. The loot sucked was the head and the shield, it took 20 minutes to give the stupid thing away to someone named shortii.
