I heard that you need to get 400 favor before you're able to play as a Drow character on a server. Is this something that is very hard to do?

I'm patching my game now so I will be playing soon and I was just wondering if it would take a long time to unlock the Race.

Thanks.

If all you want to do is get the favor then PUG with some high lvl characters in the Harbor - take the backseat - get your favor - then play on. You'd be surprised how many high lvl characters are just standing around.

If I remember well, by playing normally I would hit 400 favor around level 8 or so. That's just running whatever, not heavily for favor except for the handy House rewards.

If you do all the quests on elite that are 1-5 you should have 400 favor. I got it by lvl 4 when I was trying to get drow on Mabar prior to the merge.

You should be more than L4 by that time though. Unless you don't mind about xp and are getting powerleveled on your favor quest ;)

It doesnt take long at all. The wife and I wanted drow characters when we started, and duoed to around...six or so? (Been a while) Did all the harbor quests from normal to elite, and started on the Market quests that were easier to do.

We hardly knew what we were doing, and unlocked the drow in about a week or so.

I was almost 5, and did all quests to elite, including part of tangleroot, the only quests I got powerleveld was the catacombs, which probably would have put me over the edge I suppose

I recently reactivated my account and I made a drow to work on favor until I can make 32 point builds. I am very glad I decided to pick a cleric to work on favor because we can sometimes get into groups that would be too high level for other classes. I ended up really enjoying the cleric class too.

I focused on finding groups or making groups with the main goal of completing any quest we attempted at the highest difficulty we could manage. Most quests on elite award 9 to 12 favor. Some especially short ones give 6 and some especially long have given me 18.

The big main quest lines (waterworks, tangleroot etc.) are awesome for favor if you can do them on elite. Waterworks is a series of 4 quests and I think each one gives 12 favor, that's 10% to drow right there.

400 favor is no big deal. By the time you have just gotten comfortable with the game and your first character, you'll should already have it. 1750 takes some work but even that isn't really that hard if you have a guildy to open the quests on elite for you.

if you want your first questing experiance to be rushed and you feel useless in it getting drow can be *really* easy. find a nice lvl 14 to run you through a bunch of stuff on elite right off the bat and you can have it in a day. what server are you on?
