The Guardians of Xoriat is recruiting players who want to take their game to the next level, regardless of where they played pre-merger. GoX is generally PuG oriented with an emphasis on elite (not elitist) play. In addition to sponsoring weekly raids and other events, GoX also encourages and participates in inter-guild play. Several members even maintain characters in other guilds. That said, we are also always there for each other. Although we are currently a small guild, we are celebrating the beginning of our second year and look forward to new adventures on Thelanis.

It takes alot for someone to be hated by all who where from Xoriat to the point where almost no one will group with him. In fact as little as I pug I have avoided groups where I have seen his name in them. Even out "Best Players" were still able to find someone. I am surprised this guy even showed back up. I would've started over on another server myself. We don't speak his name but all old members of the server know who we are talking about.

I've been on Xoriat for a while, and I only just got "togue" and "evil one".

I feel ashamed. :o. Guess this just goes to show that the evil ones powers of deception are not to be underestimated.

Yes, TEO has been accepted into GoX. In fact, were it not for TEO, GoX would likely not exist. For better or worse, I first met him on my first day on Xoriat after the mod 3 bugs prevented me from playing on Tharashk. This was around the time of or shortly after 'the event' and he was playing a new lowbie. As days turned into weeks and I still couldn't return to Tharashk because of 'your character data is still saving' and 'you are already in a group' errors, our paths crossed frequently. Before he finally left the server, he taught me more about the game than I had learned in the six months prior. By then, I was established on Xoriat and GoX had more than a dozen members.

I never did learn any of the details of 'the event'; I wasn't a forum junkie then and he wouldn't say. I found him on Tharashk a couple of times a couple of months afterward before he dropped off of the radar completely. In all of that time, he was nothing less than a friend and he always treated me with resepct. He has never given me a reason not to return that friendship and respect. Since I too have players that I will not group with, I also understand where Scarsgaard and Gorloch, both players that I have a deep respect for, are coming from.

I won't personally attack him... in fact I sad to say have rather enjoyed this whole piece o'drama. The guy doesn't have a lot of respect and I doubt he ever will. He's not elite and well.. his past haunts him... and I doubt he cares.

Say what you will but he did allow folkes to PvP him to death for a couple days and most of us considered it comedic. i truly do doubt though that I.S. and Memory think that way.

Nuff to say, I'm not getting involved further... I like and respect Perryc (partied with him many times and E's cool. If he's cool with the drama, I say have fun with it, use discretion and play on...

I've seen him on, and really could care less. I've moved past it, learned from it, and don't waste my time dwelling on it. Don't waste my time on him either.

I've not forgiven him. But it also does not mean I have to have some huge upswelling of DRAMA just because he's back. He's been on for about a week now - and the only reason why I'm saying anything now is because Scarr brought up my past with him. And that is where it stays - in my past. He's not worth being a part of my future.

And that's my final statment on the matter.

1) Do not loan him anything.
2) NEVER give him your account info!
3) Learn how to make magical arrows. (private joke, Mem ;))
4) I'm pretty sure he's had a +2 ST. tome........LOL :D
So watch out if a +3 drops!
5) Lastly........learn to speak the language

The unmentionable is a complete mess; no integrity, no class and lacking play skills to boot. Only one way to deal with cancer and that's to cut it out and hope it never comes back. I wish you and your guild the best, but don't have much hope for you unless you do what's necessary.
