Getting a problem that I've never had before, and since I never have, I honestly don't know what to do.

Today, after maitenance, I loaded up the DDO Launcher, and there were a few updates. I didn't think it was odd that after the little loading box (Where it flies through all the connection things, and getting data centers) went through its cycle of commands, that the login screen didn't show up. Instead, the whole launcher instantly minimized itself. I noticed it was downloading updates, so I left it alone until it was done.

It downloaded the update, and then shut down. So, I started the launcher right back up. The DDO logo came up, and that dragon. Went through the cycle of commands, like usual.

But. . . The login screen still won't show up. The launcher instantly minimizes itself to the taskbar. I click it, to bring it up, and it does the little animation like a window coming up, but I still see no login screen. I minimize the launcher for real this time, and it goes to the loading dock in the corner of the screen, like it should. Double click to bring up the launcher. I see the spinning d20, meaning the launcher is loading. Wait a few seconds, aaaaand. . . Instantly minimizes itself to the taskbar. Click to bring it up, and nothing. Minimize it to the loading dock, double click, spinning dice, instant minimized launcher, click to bring it up. . . Lather, rinse, repeat.

There is NO way I can view the launcher's login screen, the way it is acting now. I have searched to see if there's a fix for this, but unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be.

It has NEVER done this to me before, and I'm hoping this isn't some sort of new bug, because I'd like to play again. . .

I'm running on a GeForce 7600 GS card, with updated drivers. 3400+ AMD Athlon 64 Processor, and 2.40 Ghz. 512 KB L2 Cache, 1600 Mhz FSB, and 1.5 gigs of DDR RAM.

If there's any other information you need, let me know. (If you need a DxDiag report, you may need to tell me how to do that. I know how to open the window, but to get the report. . . I'm a bit clueless to. Lol.)

Thanks!

Bwhahaha! Figures! I post for help, and I figure it out.

In case anyone else has the problem, here's how I fixed it:

Go down to your loading dock, to the DDO icon. Right click, go to Options. That loads up. Click that magical little button that says Restore Default Settings, and you should be good to go.

Hope that helps anyone who may get this problem like I did.
