DC= caster lvl+int mod+spell focus item+spell focus feat
any spells that allow a save are DC based, any that do not(ray of enfeeblement, touch of idocy, etc.) offer a save, hit automaticly assuming it skriks them.(SR is a whole differnt story)

If thre is a save in the description then it's DC based. DC is based off the leve of the spell, stat modifiers(INT for wiz Cha for sorcs) and any spell focus items and/or feats. Finger of death for example with my wizzy:
7th level spell: 7
INT Mod(34 INT) : 12
necro focus item: 1
Necro focus feat: 1
-------------------------
Total: 21 DC

Base Spell DC: 10
7th level spell: 7
INT Mod(34 INT) : 12
necro focus item: 1
Necro focus feat: 1
-------------------------
Total: 31 DCYou forgot the base. :)

Thanks for info everyone, but this leads me to one more question. If you have a dc of 31 as stated above, then how does that compare agaisted the save of say 20. What roll on does the toom have to make to save agaist the spell?
thanks again
