Can anyone explain to me how this thing casues people to do so much more damage? I guess I was wrong to think that confirming a crit was just a matter of being able to hit a second time? If not, does this mean that the fighter enhancement also causes more damage?
Thanks for the help.

As of mod 4.1(?), seeker bonuses are added to the base damage BEFORE multiplication on criticals. So, for the bloodstone, that's an additional 12 damage on a x2 weapon (bastard sword, longsword, etc), 18 damage on an x3 weapon (axes, khopesh, etc) and 24 damage on x4 weapons (picks)
My fighter with a bloodstone typically crits in the 90-100 range with his charoush's inferno (or however it's spelled). With improved crit:slashing, that's 15% of all hits that are doing that much damage (plus elemental (1d6) and elemental burst (2d6) damage). Were I using a dwarven-, great- or battle-axe, that number would go through the roof..
For a barbarian with the critical rage enhancements, it's just sickening..
