:) :) :)
I really like it!
You know, I'd like to see those transparent warforged at the begining mutiply. I think it would make a stronger statement, like 5 or so. I like how they are large over the city. Were you trying to create an image of strength and solidarity there or did you just think it looked cool?
(I pick up on weird things like that)
I like the consistancy of the writing, it helps with flow in my eyes.
Is it just you two in the guild? I think you need more shots of more warforged doing stuff! Two is company, three is ok, five is a party, and 12 is practically an army... 12 is too many anyway, go with five... just my opinion, which is not really much in the grad scheme of things.
gratz and gj on your first vid!
:D :D :D

Appreciate the comments a lot. At first the guild was just me, lol. I wanted to check out argo without pressure to join a guild right away. Then a friend from ghallanda came along and made a wf wiz on Argo as well and talked me into inviting him.
Currently we have six people in the guild, with one guy trying to talk his wife into joining, and a few from the forums who have pm'd me. All those, except for the original two of us, have joined within the last week.
Ya, you're absolutely right: need to get some pics/vids of more guildies in action.

Very nice. It's funny to think that a year ago WF were hated. How the game has evolved.
Cheers!

We use a DVD recorder. My cell-mate, AKA Clankenbeard, has a duel monitor, he uses the second monitor like a sort-of TV screen that is connected to the DVD. This way we get the game sounds too.
Here is where things get tricky.... we have two accounts, his and mine, better known as camera one and camera two.... He has a control box in the middle of our respective compy's so we can flip back and forth instantly from one view to the other. The problem there is that when you are recording, the person cannot record his/ her own voice while he/ she is filming... It is easy to work around since in game voices sound aweful.
We use a half-way descent mic to record voice stuff and then stream audio together using a program called Goldwave. IMO, it is alot easier to start with audio and work out from there. The mp3 audio file is then imported into the "captured" video. We use a program called Pinnicle Studios as the capture software.
This program is FREAKING HUGE. We had to buy an external hard drive so we could still game. Also, It likes to "freeze up" alot and often crashes the whole compy! (save often!)
I have to give props to Clank, cause he took it to the next level. He is an artist (very odd for an engineer), and makes animations using a program called FLASH. If he wants to Incorporate an external feature ie.. a cup or a PA system, he actually pulls that portion of the film into the FLASH program. key frames it, and then exports it back out. (too deep for ya?.. me too)
Interesting tid bits of info....
----for a three-minute video, we start with about 2 hours of footage. (this is Clanky's fault, because he is the guy)
----It takes about two days worth of work (enjoyable work, but work) to put one of these things together
----not everyone is going to "get" what you are doing, DO IT ANYWAY!
I hope this helps and was not too long, I do not wish to hijack Ghoste's thread!
;) ;) ;)
cheers
