YAWN! Because we all know on Xoriat everyone was perfect, priced items fairly, ran elite quests with no death , had perfect builds, and was just uber-leet.

Sounds like paradise. ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZzzzz

I'm sorry, were you ranting about something, I seemed to have dozed off.

UNICORN here you are free to post whatever you want. Here's our thread.

Lizzy, thank ya.

In the meantime, I have 2 minutes before I have to leave to teach midgets, so here's a story.

OMG, there was this one time, on Thelanis, where I ran with this group and they were so bad OMG and I was just like OMG people why don't you know how to use a heal wand and the guy was like I'm a barbarian OMG. And I said why don't you use pots mid fight and he said I do but I have 400 HP so I said OMG! So I smacked him upside the forehead for being so st00pidz for playing a worthless character that takez all the aggr0 and can't even heal themselves OMG so then this other time, I was going to do some questing and I needed to PUG and OMG don't you so always hate pugz, they are like the magnet for the worstest people ever but then I know that I'm the bestest so there. So this one guy did something n00bish and I was like d00d just stop wasting my time and OMG learn how to play the game already and the d00d was like OMG I would if I could just find someone to help me and so I was like ok d00d here's your sign. *ding* I don't have time for that.

Or, I can tell you the REAL story. I thought all this server merge personality difference stuff was BS until... well... today I guess. On the actual game, I notice no difference.

Uni, thanks for keeping it real. You might not remember me but I remember the very first quest I ever ran with you. VON 4, the first time I learned how to ZERG, with you and Dorune. :) Even then you were about helping people out. This is the Thelanis way, I don't care who your mom is or where your cousin stays or *** server you "came" from. I hope we never change.

And I was a little bit slack jawed about the comment of "****ing" on 1st amendment rights in the "other" thread. Uni, you're an ex-serviceman, aren't you? I'm pretty sure nobody would DREAM of "****ing" on your 1st amendment rights, as you so eloquently put it. If you want to talk about respect for military service men and women, just throw a stone in any direction on our server and in a five-foot radius you'll meet one, or someone who is married to one, or whose sister is one, father died serving, etc. I am not as good a person as they are and have been. Yes, you're free to say whatever you want, but Good GOD. Saying you're a little bit tired of negative attitudes is a LITTLE different than censorship or disrespecting our fallen servicemen and women who gave all while some gave none. But, again, perspective.

Here's my little corner. Don't defecate on it please.

And am I the only one that realizes that the people everyone is wailing about... don't even read the forums??!?? They really don't. Seriously... they don't. They don't! *sigh*

Smelling the air, I can feel the deranging of my life like a tangled train meeting cliff's edge. No footnote here, nor something tangible withing the drivel of my nervous eyes and slightly twitchy hands... nothing to stop me from reaching across my neck and strangling someone or screaming at the tops of Kilimanjaro... except in this moment my mind goes blank...

Tugboat? pffft. Nuclear baby! The pride of the fleet. That ship was actually the bomb and I have ribbons and medals to prove otherwise.

And it is an Aircraft Carrier, so we land planes all night and day. Maybe your plane is a bit larger than normal fighter jets, but still smaller than "my boat" and only I can call it that, the rest of you will refer to Harry S Truman as a ship :P:P:P

Well, I wish I could tell you about the payload of my boat, but 86 total planes, 6000 people and a buttload of steel, not including all the spare parts, telephones, communications equipment, as we are the Command Ship for our battle group/air wing, and to mention the amount of ordinance we have onboard. I think we substantially carry enough to handle our own versus some little paper airplane.

The only downer is being stuck on a ship with a large male population... frankly, I can't stand being around other men... brings out my nasty competitive side and last time I was in that environment I had plenty of time living in the brig and being yelled at:D

Superman is flying over the sky fast as a bolt when what does he spy?

Wonderwoman all nekkid, spread eagle on a plot of grass... thinking to himself... I'm as fast as a bullet.. I think I'll just my super-speed flight and give her a lil "one-two, one two.. wink wink nudge nudge"

So down he goes... and bam he's in just pluggin away.. and fast as he is... finishes and zooms away...

Wonder Woman... screams aloud and goes "what was that...?"

The invisible man replies... "I don't know but my bumb sure hurts"

Jammy, my Jammy.
Way better than Moons over My Hammy

Sitting by the fountain in house P,
Just you and Me
Erda and Jam Jam
Not Sam I am,
Not wiggly like Spam.
Just Jam.
How about this, he is finer than four hundred year old wine
and smells like Peanuts, the yummy kind
like you get at the ballpark on hot Summer days
like the one when my St. Louis Cardinals beat his Tigers
in the World Series.
Those were good times.
But, not as good as when he'll come to me
and we drive cross-country
Incubo we'll travel to see
'Cuz I'm not allowed in Utah without him.
Until that day
I'll be happy to say

Hey Erda, a T-Hawk is a missle...also known as a tomahawk missle:

http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WMUS_Tomahawk.htm

Not even the size of a battleship, it's a DDG I believe or a CG or an FG, who knows, they only hold up to 450 people, and the FG or Frigate only holds upto 180-200 people. Hardly any comparison to a B-2 paper airplane Bomber and an Aircraft Tuggy Boat!

Heck, you can't even make a Helo out of paper!

For where we get some of the stuff we talk about, try here:

For the kind of stuff we print out from the net and leave under peoples pillows, go here: http://www.bmezine.com/news/people/A20210/plp56/index.html

Not that you puked all over yourself and realized why me and Ira were not on Subs, think about all the ways I can get around your little rule:

Snack trays, cheese balls, funobagos, meat melons, dirty pillows, sweater meat, milk mounds, Jugs, Fun Bags, Boobs, Chi Chi's, Jubblies, Knockers, Bosoms, Rack, Hooters, Honkers, Magumbos, Melons, Waterbags, Happy Sacs, Dirty Pillows, Ta ta's, Breasticles, Headlights, Gazongas, Cans, Chest-hams, Twins.

Now if I could just get my hands on a pair...

BDU's have been implemented by the CNO Ira, just not in effect for another year or so.

And before I joined, my hair was touching my Boo Bees and I still have my guitar, best of both worlds for ya.

Ok, my last input on this little war. The space shuttle flies like, what, once or twice a year? The Air Farce (it's my service, I can call it whatever I want) has a pilot flying 70k+ feet every day, close to 24 hours a day, 365.

And not just Naval officers get to fly in the shuttle.

Since you said come to your thread and post, I'm going to assume that means I have earned permission to post.

The bird I'm flying in that picture is a CH-47D Chinook helicopter.

So yeah, not only was I making an Air-Hate Delivery, but I was delivering a whole LOT of hate in one trip. Chinooks have 33 seats in back since my crew was sitting on the survival cases manning the Air-60's. 34 if you count the jumpseat in the companion-way which leads into the cockpit, but we try to leave that one free for any pretty ones we're carrying. Sorry Scars, but you ain't pretty enough to get the jumpseat. Added bonus for the jump seat, we can plug you into the ICS (Inter-Com System) and actually talk to you.

That particular day, we made 3 turns with two flights of two, so 12 "hook" loads worth of troopies. Someone was gonna get one hell of a hate on.

At the point that picture was taken we were still up pretty high in a free cruise. As we closed, naturally we went more tactical. Ever dodged trees and powerlines at 150 knots? Vmax is 170 KIAS but at that speed unless the rotors are tracked and balanced for it, she shakes like a poodle passing razor blades (I wanted to use a different word for it but the swear filter didn't like the one that started with a different letter and rhymed with mit.) If you haven't, it's more of an adrenaline rush than skydiving.

You starch wing jockies only THINK you fly low... . Until you've picked palm branches out of the landing gear, you haven't been low. So yeah, that license plate frame that says, "I don't drive FAST, I fly LOW!!!!!" ... well ... Yeah, it's appropriate.

Notice, I did not just arbitrarily add words to my accronym to make it plausable. You have to follow the rules of Accronym (I'm sure Scar can supply you with a whole list since he works in the Accronym Proliferation business) if you want it to count. :D

wait wait wait... I just have to make sure I'm seeing this correctly... did that xorain tell me to follow rules....? ok, got it.

Besides, you used a double-negative, and that's just bad grammer. LOL

I'm chalk full of bad grammar I'm also prone two run on sentences punctuation'can,be.fun:when"use'd;irresponsibly? and eye can make "tire" rhyme with "car"... that is, of coarse, aside from my tendency too randomly pick a high-dollar word and ewes it in casual conversation, then see how many people actually no what it means, how many give blank stair, and how many try two bluff their weigh threw.

Uma, you're a co-ambassador? When did you become a Co-Ambassador? You should have a special hat, like a Shriner's hat or something for that job... LOL.

Well since this is MY THREAD and you can take it or leave it, I want to apologize to Jundak and some of the things I said in his thread. I don't agree with the "PM me the name of that jerk" threads, I will say that much, but the guy he was talking about in his OP was out of line in the situation that he described. I responded to the tone of a few of the other posts in the thread, that really burned my butter, and I might have come off too strongly with some of the things I said. I didn't intend to take it in a direction that would make it *poof* if you know what I mean. I was at work so I don't even know what the responses to it were. Maybe Big Brother is watching me now, I don't know. *looks over shoulder* Besides I know the day I really start talking too much crazy talk, I will be aware, because I will have a message from Incubo in my PM box asking if I'd taken my meds today, LOL.

So here are my deep thoughts (One inch deep) for the day:

-I get crazy when I read people being mean on the forums. But that is my problem, not theirs.

-Trying to sell a house in this market really stinks.

Finally:

There has been more than one occasion where people responding to a post have been told "if you don't like it leave" or "don't read it" or "make your own post" and I honestly believe this is a very immature statement, and essentially a cop out. It's taking a dialogue to its most base level and shows that the person has no respect for just that: a true dialogue. They just want to have their say, and not deal with the repurcussions, nor listen to contrary points of view. It is like saying what you want, and then responding to the other person, "talk to the hand" :D Being a teacher who has had students actually SAY this to them... it's been a few years but it happens.... I can honestly say this is about one of the MOST disrespectful things you can do to a person, tell them that what they have to say isn't worth hearing, or to take it somewhere else. Everyone, EVERYONE deserves a right to be heard, even if it's not what you think you're in the mood to hear.

So... if you say anything like this in a post... expect me to respond to it. You're not bringing anything intelligent to the dialogue by saying "GET YOUR OWN THREAD" or telling people they don't have the right to say that. Didn't... YOU... have the right to post in the first place? So do they.

Thanks and have a great day everyone.

Actually I'm sad to see that thread go away. It had great dialogue and many good points by all parties involved. I know that we all deal with aggression and disrespect in our own way... while I probably misinterpretted how your crew deals with miscreants, and I'm quite certain your group is misinterpretting our ways as well.

Basically it does come down to communication. We posts our anger openly, so everyone can see the issues at hand, and if the perpetrator wishes to, can defend himself. Sometimes, we discover extenuating circumstances, and then the thread gets handled by various guilds to smooth things over. I won't dish up on already resolved issues, but... our threads do produce results.

If you like your way, please employ it... and if you do decide to banish people, please keep your non-allied guilds in the loop... you might be surprised how these issues get resolved when nothing is kept secret and openly discussed.

Everyone has their way of doing things, Erda. And thank you very much for your PM...it was too damned long, though. My head hurts and I want a beer! :p

I honestly don't believe it was your fault...I blame Shin and his not-so-subtle insertion of the offending person's name in his post *glares at Shin*.

The women's grapevine doesn't cross most of Tharashk's rumor mills. We've our own site for that. But with the multitude of people that we've come to respect, I've come to realize that using the Xorian's method to get the information out there is really the best way to do it, in my opinion.

This is especially true since, as you and I have discussed in our PM's, that we've never grouped with one another. As a matter of fact, the only person I've grouped with from your "Ladies Circle" is Uma. The same is true with Scarsgaard, Arlith, Lostinjapan, most of IFV, the Shifting Sands, etc...I like these folk here. Every one of you make me laugh during an otherwise dull day. Army is just the biggest baddest arsed bastages on the ground.

Even the British Dictionaries, speaking the Queen's English, acknowledge that there are two accepted spellings of words in that manner.

Using your example, Armour is the preferred spelling, but Armor is also an accepted spelling.

Same holds true for words such as harbour/harbor, Shoppe/Shop, etc.

Actually, I guess I should learn to adapt a bit since the gal I'm seeing is Canadian. If America only knew what they were missing. As my friends in Quebec say, "Oh La Laaaaaaa!" For the record, she's not from Quebec, she lives in Ontario. So don't get all Anti-Quebec. My friends are "professional associations." They fly CH-146 Griffon helos and we met at a joint-training exercise at Volk Field, WI. Good bunch of guys when they weren't speaking French so fast I couldn't keep up.

Online at six a.m.
Who could it be
But a brown-haired Canadian
Staring back at me

He had a rendezvous with Stella
She kept him up late
Still got time for his Erda
Never makes me wait

Unless of course he's out of Propane
Or Taco Bell is callin' his name.

Oh, sweet Jammy never lets me down
They say he's from the wrong side of town
But who am I to judge
Just cause his Tigers fudged
(Last year's World Series?) Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!!!

One of these days
I'm gonna drive up north
kidnap him and his laptop
and so on, and so forth

Pack him and Sammy (ruff! ruff!)
in the back of my car
Better hide him in the trunk
or I won't get very far (Border Patrol!!! Wee-oooh Wee--ooh!)

But here's where our story stays
for now, for a few days.

PaintHorseCowboy

When taken as an individual, most people are relatively smart.

But put them together in a group and humans are dumb, panicky animals, ane y'all know it.

Every species instinctively develops an equilibrim with its environment. Put too many of them together in a confined space and they go nuts. So here's some food for thought... .

**** Sapiens is the only species that voluntarily does this to itself.

I would like to say that +Sir Lawrence pretty much stopped me in my tracks by spawning a kobold in the middle of House K and made it dance. Which was shortly followed by a minotaur that just casually walked around a pillar and disappeared. So yes...in my inebriated state, I was unsure if I should stab the kobold or join the party.

I was in a good mood, so I joined the party...then felt dirty, so I went and killed the Demon Queen. What a weird series of events last night...:D

If the green quote in your sig had a photo to go along with it, what would the picture be? :D

*Note: I keep trying to click on the quote as though it is a link... so I'm sure if there WAS a photo... I'd be in it somewhere... LOL.*

I'd tell you, but I'd probably get IP's for "flaming" another individual.

You can always draw a representation in Microsoft PAINT, that makes for an interesting scene scape. :D Nothing like stick figures with crayon-looking daggers coming out of their backs FTW!

Also, please note...

For Erda's posting convenience, and her inability to recognize that my signature quote was, in fact, NOT a link. It has changed.

Thanks for your support. *grin*

(Oh, you SOOOO owe me as now I'm caught by the dumb 4-line limit.)
