I think it's only appropriate if you're having an all female raid, that you go raid the only female.

There are two females, Velah and DQ. As far as this goes I find it could be interesting. I am not Titan ready but can pull from all three my high levels for any of the other quests (Healza is not yet Reaver ready). Let me know time and place. I am norm available after 10pm eastern Mon thru Fri, and can pretty much rearrange my schedule on the weekends.

This was something that started with me, Karisu and I talked about it with another of the IFV ladies and some others we knew like Uma.

When we were first discussing I thought I would go ahead and organize, but as I am starting my first few weeks of teaching it's just not going to be my first priority. However I would like to participate on one of my characters (Probably Siggy or Tato) and here is the feedback I got at that time:

Most of the ladies participating-- Velah is probably not going to be the challenge I think we were hoping for. It's fun, but most of us are Velah veterans at this point.

Titan--- Also fun, but very puzzle intensive, and might feel more like a "teaching" raid than something that is going to be enjoyable for everyone.

Demon Queen-- the consensus was we like this one but the prerequisites are a pain in the a$$.

Reaver-- Easy, but short. This was the favorite though for some of the people I asked.

Tempest Spine -- Umm... No thank you.


And that's about enough from the horny males in the audience. I'm looking forward to kicking ass with my friends. Life does not always imitate WCW or "The Girls Next Door" and the faster you realize that the better off you will be. Or... maybe worse. I dunno.

One suggestion I had was to start with the Reaver and then follow up with a longer raid, either Titan or Velah. I wouldn't worry too much about whether or not the raid is considered challenging. No one has any doubts that you ladies are capable of running the raids(The usual idiots might, but who cares about them), so just pick a fun one. Even better, run several, as long as you have enough people and are having fun.

As for time, I'd recommend starting at 10:00pm EDT, probably on a Friday night. Early enough for East Coast players, but not too early for West Coast.

OK that just sounds like a ton of fun. Currently getting flagged for DQ only takes a couple of hours. If I have a few days notice I could be DQ ready fairly easily, and would also help flag anyone who can not get into a guild flagging. DQ also only take a matter of less than 10 mins to run. For Velah I currently have all my high level toons flagged and can hold out who is needed (I love bringing my rogue through this) and again will help anyone who needs the flag. Fridays after 10pm eastern does seem like it would work the best ince i won't have any time restraints. Again let me know what everyone decides they want to take place.

Ok, to make this slightly more organized let's try it this way. Post below your character/lvl and what raid they are ready for or what they need. Looks like we have tons of interest so if you have a preference of who you want to run let me know! Also what time is best for you.

For example, here's mine:

Moiyra: Lvl 14 Cleric : Queen, Reaver, Titan ready
Jezzy: Lvl 14 Bard: Queen (think I may need preraid), Reaver, Titan ready
Dizzylizzy: Lvl 14 Barb: Dragon ready, and I think Titan ready, could finish queen prereqs for queen

I am available nights usually after 9pm est. Weekend days with enough notice I can make myself available.

It might need to be stated that you need the 6 man prequest for the DQ raid and that you need 20 of each relic or the Reaver. Then again this is all females with a slightly higher thinking compacity than our male counterparts so it might not be necessary. :D

Quest: VON 5-6 (Velah the Red Dragon)


Prerequisites: Vault of Night 1-4 (Tharashk Arena, Prison of the Mind, Jungles of Khyber, Haywire's Factory)
Levels: 10-14 (10's will take an XP hit)

Loot policy: Meh, pudding wrestling, of course! (Group can vote, Probably need vs. greed, this is mostly for fun not loots but someone might get lucky)

I am only going to be up for one run-- if it is a QUICK VON 5-6 may possibly do a Reaver afterwards. If someone wants to head up a DQ maybe at 9 Eastern, or whatever you choose, it's up to you!

I will post the LFM at about 7:45 Central, if you post here that you can come it will help me figure out who to invite first! And if you see any known BOYS try to sneak in...

LOL. Otherwise I just will be waiting outside of the quest entrance, if people want to congregate there, we can figure out if anyone will need to switch for a certain part of the quest, STR lever or traps for example (I know my rogue is ready and could be brought in for traps, etc.)



Just in case I have to switch, my characters are listed in my sig. The ones I will be using potentially (Since we seem to have at least 2 clerics signed up which is awesome,) are Tatotot, Emina, and possibly Siglinde.

My cleric has the wis, my pally has the str, and my rogue can disable the traps without a prob on elite so no worries there either. I am actually getting really excited about this, see you then.

Tonight's first Ladies' Raid was a success, with one of the fastest Velah kills I've seen in a while. Great job, ladies. :D I think everyone had a good time, it was nice to do a test0ster0ne free quest (no offense guys, we love ya!)

I don't know about you, but I appreciate that there were a few people in the group who got to try something new for a change, in terms of playing a certain role in the quest, that they might not have been able to do otherwise. Hopefully we can do this once every few weeks, I would quest with you all anywhere. Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy family nights, or game nights, or just free time to quest together. It was a blast.

Yes... if you NOTICE though, realize WHY we all are still.... barked, stoned, whatever you might call it.... it is because we killed Velah so fast that none of us got dispelled... at all. If they weren't stoned/barked in the pic it means they never had it to begin with, LOL. That was a first for me, at least. For once at least for picture purposes it was a little disappointing that Velah didn't get more rough with us.... :) And just for the record, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders ain't got nothing on us!! Good people, good times, sweet loot dropping (Suit and SOS), can't ask for much more than that.

We did have fun. And, after talking with a few others, look for another one in a few weeks, Titan this time. If you have never run it before, there are a few pre-requisites, Hiding in Plain Sight, Bring me the Head of Ghola-Fan! and Slavers of the Shrieking Mines. Hope to see a bunch of you ladies again if you would like. :)

Actually... Since you HAD to ask... Well... since we are such weak females and were essentially helpless without any male characters in the group, we had to get inventive. At first we swooned, dabbing our foreheads with our lace hankerchiefs and checking to make sure we still had our potpourri sachets to keep our armor smelling fresh and clean, then we got down to work.

My suggestion was to hook up a belt to the lever, attach a mule train with one of those sticks with the carrot hanging off it. Then put the mule on a treadmill with a hamster on a wheel running the treadmill, and eventually after about an hour or so the mule will exert enough energy to pull the lever for us.

Then while I was submitting my diagrams and using glitter glue and sparkly pens to emphasize the important aspects of my plan, Pomegranate and Spittfire brushed past me, and with a mighty but still feminine and sexy "RAAAWWWRRR!!!" grabbed their respective levers, and pulled. Ah, the power of teamwork.

Ah, the power of glitter glue. *bustles back to desk and continues coloring while waiting for the end of the school day*
