Character Generator

Hey guys,

A friend and I are just getting back into PnP gaming after 4 years, when our old GM moved outta the area.

I am just after a solid 3.5Ed Character Generator. It just gets a little hard trying to get new players to manually create a character from scratch.

Any reccomendations would be good. I don't know if I want to pay for E-Tools or not though. A free alternative would be awesome.
