can anyone explain to me how spell resistance works and is spell resistance 19 any good or does it have to be like 24 to be effective
Its easier for me to just provide a link. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#spellResistance
Quick answer is its the reverse of a save, where the caster makes the role to beat a number. Its simular to an attack roll to beat a mobs AC. Spell resistance of 19 is as good as players can get with the gear they give us.

I would consider 19 to be effective except in PVP... all bets are off in there.
My drow take the ehancements to get to 19.
My 2cp.
