Server merge wrong name item sending.

Hello Customer Service:
I accidentally sent a good number of high level items to the wrong character name. Yes, I am a dummy and it will not happen again. I sent them to a player who has my old name of (John Doe), whereas I am now (John Doe)-Argonesson. Is there any way CS can intercede and return all items wrongly sent to this individual to the original senders? If you need any names, which I'm thinking you probably don't, I'll be happy to PM anyone you would like. Thank you in advance.

Edit: On a side note, my character named (John Doe)-Argonesson also does NOT have a rename token. I looked in his inventory and the bank and saw no sign of one. Could I get one for him please?

..Well I had the same - copy and pasted wrong name into many mails - forgot domminNo got the extra N.

Lucky Dommino got lots of +5 tools and some nice burst rapiers of PG.

P.S. Sent a mail, but the PP value of PG burst rapiers is way too low for me to expect this player to want to return my stuff... oh well live and learn...

Good luck on that. I think you are at the mercy of the nice person who you sent all that stuff. I'm pretty sure that there was a note after the merge warning about this, and stating that Turbine wouldn't be able to help you.

You wont have a physical token in your inventory just use the change name comand and you should have your name change.

Did you say 30 days? I thought it might be 3 days...Unopened mail is returned to sender in 4 weeks (28 days).

Uggh- 28 days- ah well- only time will tell. At least there weren't any really great items in there- it was about half vendor trash and half +5 stat items- POP here I come (again)!!! Also, I was able to change my name- thanks for the help on that one.

Well, it has been 28 days, and all my items were returned to sender. All told I probably had about 500k plat of stuff in the mail, which all came back. Happy happy, joy joy.... :)

I guess the John Doe of that server became a John Doe so he couldnt use your things XD
