i'm not sure what to make of it. Are you a subtle melee nuker with a dragon mark??

If you want to fight inside a firewall, you want the aggro.

How do you intend to actually fight? 16 base charisma is not good for crowd controll, especially if you don't have a spell focus to make up for the missing charisma.

Mostly thinking that fighting in a firewall or something similar would be optimal. Your right regarding the spell dc, I'm gonna change the spell selection around. Most of my spell selections is now based on buffing and supplementing melee damage with spells i.e. scorching ray ect...

You know, I'm working on a drow sorc/pal - also intended to be 2/12 (he's 2/8 at the moment). I'm curious what your spell selection will be - what with the focus on buffing & fighting.

I went max charisma and the best con I could muster, so I'm not as focused on melee dps. My main spells at the moment are, offensively: scorching ray and wall of fire.

buff-wise, I cast nightshield, haste and blur, and recite stoneskin and greater heroism from scrolls.

Interesting.. a Line of Dragonmarks that your primary class can cast. 2 of the 3 from Wand/Scroll even.....

Thats interesting.......

Yeah, I admit I don't get that - I but if it works for you.

Mark of the Sentinel is the same way - stuff you can cast.
I could see the Mark of the Shadow, although, again, you can cast shadow walk... or a halfling sorc with the mark of healing? Something that doesn't duplicate what you've got.

I'm wrestling with the whole dragon mark question. I keep not taking them...

A pure cleric (or any non-caster class) with the mark of passage could be cool.

In a battlemage you have to remember that AC is pointless. You will NEVER get a decent ac (well not past lvl 8 anyway) so why bother? My battlemage has 14 ac most of the time, and thats only cause of 14 dex and +2 innate WF armour. Just rely on displacement and stoneskin, and a fearsome robe/docent to get you by.

I'm wondering about Toughness. Without access to the Toughness enhancement lines, you might be better off with a different feat. Mental Toughness maybe, or Empower.

Mostly just for fun and to find out what it's like. For the most part I'm thinking it would be usefull as well to have the spells and not take up valuable sorcerer spell slots :D
As for planned spells

1: Nightshield, Chill Touch, Niac's, MM, Jump
2: Blur, Scorching Ray, Resist Energy,
3: Haste, Displacement, Rage
4: Firewall, PK, Stoneskin
5: Hold Monster, Symbol of Pain
6: G. Heroism

Hate to say it, but blech...I usually point and laugh when I see a Dragonmark on another sorcerer.

How about a HALFLING 3pally/11Sorc melee nuker with 2 Lay on hands, all 3 healing dragonmarks, Maximize and Extend...if you're going to waste feats on a dragonmarks you might as well take the only good ones.

Bah go with House Cannith dragonmark and heal WF with all the SP, and let them do the work.

Dragaonmarks are like spells, if a particular meta-feat affects the spell it will affect the dragonmark. In this case you can maximize your clw and csw. This adds some serious healing power to a halfling caster.
