*Sigh* :(

Yeah most are thinking another disgruntled DDO evacuator... Nah.

I just want to point a few things that Im just really boo'd on about this game before I walk away... well.. and the fact that you guys cant see my exit survey and realize my points.

When this game first hit shelves I was so STOKED!! Not because it was D&D because quite frankly (and I know all u D&D fans are gonna freak on this line) I dont give 2 K-raps about this D&D license... The fighting system was just so original... felt more to me once I first picked up this game that people were going to flock to it because it was so much different from other MMO's out there.

But alas in the big picture this game has grown so so sooooo slowly... yeah sure they added mail, the AH, blah blah... well fantastic those things are convient NOT fun, plus EVERY other game has that... why wouldnt you just include it in launch?! Anyway I still like this game I guess there's just nothing AT ALL to do once u cap 3-4 toons, except well... cap more toons, oh and run raids for more raid loot so when your old ones break you have a replacement... umm boo!

Guilds in this game are a joke for the most part too... There are just glorified friends lists... You have NO control... just a freaking message and 2 different ranks! Ridiculous! No Housing, No crafting... with all these actually fun things missing you'd think the content in this game would be brimming... yeah... no.

I have been running the same 5-6 quests for 2 MONTHS now... OMG!!!! Are you serious... :( We have nothing to do while we wait on you guys to chuck out some more missions to obliterate.

Ok please imagaine this... Turbine you released a game with a limited explorable area, with the idea that people would enjoy not running 4 days to their quest... Ok I applaude that. Well one would assume that since people dont have to run days to get to quests that they would finish them quicker, but nah you chose to ignore that frivilous way of thinking. My point being: If you're going to centralize characters in a cage.. then give them something to do once they have ran through all their hamster wheels... Most MMO's (if not all) give you little thinks to do in between quests to keep it fresh... DDO... nah just follow the yellow swirls on the doorways... BOO! :(

I really considered staying for these "11 New amazing quests" but whats the point... even DDO has started to repeat there ideas, I never imagined that happening but alas Im silenced in most of the kind words I spread for this game when it launched, because now I look like the worlds biggest tool for renewing peoples faith in Turbine's MMO's...

Turbine, Im sure that your concern for this game is extremely low at this point because you have another "Catch your eye" licensed game out that people are just rushing into be disappointed... Im not even going to try it because I know the first few months will be cRaZy fun then you're just going to let it die instead of keeping that work horse chuggin out goodies... For Pete's sake give your games some LIFE! Stray off the beaten path that other games have forged and try a new fresh idea for once... Seriosly CREATE your own idea quite soiling licenses with your K-rap spins... and who knows LOTR Online may melt faces... but I will miss the whole experience because of your ridiculously flawless failures...

Bash away.. Peace

Though I still think they push out Updates faster then any other MMO, I do agree that most and more should have been out in the origianal release. Why they did not have all the classes, levels 1-20, and races avaible and all that other stuff you mentioned on original release I will never understand. But I for now am Still enjoying the Game.. Soooo.. I see we are on the same server.. Can I have your stuff? :D:rolleyes::p;)

No Housing, No crafting... with all these actually fun things missing you'd think the content in this game would be brimming... yeah... no. In your opinion. I am not that keen on crafting or housing for that matter. Played EQ2. Didn't like the fact that I had to pay money for rent every three weeks or to up grade housing cost a ton of money.

I have been running the same 5-6 quests for 2 MONTHS now... OMG!!!! Are you serious... :( We have nothing to do while we wait on you guys to chuck out some more missions to obliterate. Whose's fault is that? Not turbines. There are other quests to run. No one said you had to run the same 5-6.

But new classes and new races will keep it fun.

Also, some advertising. I had no idea this game existed until my computer broke and I went to Best Buy to get a decent new one. I walked over to see if Civilization 4 was in when I noticed the DDO box. Picked it up, said "Holy Sh!t" and bought it. Then told 5 friends about it -who ran out to get it.

Point is- there are a lot of D&D fans out there that don't read Gamingboy Magazine ... or where ever we're currently advertizing.

I definitely agree that more advertising needs to be done.

Everyone is going to disagree with you. There have been hundreds of these kind of posts, and I agree with all the posts. Everyone disagrees because... they are still having fun. Just look at the posts above me. Every other game has these additions you were talking about that came so late. But would it really have been that hard to include the AH, Mail, and other various stuff that isn't really questing at release and still be able to call it original? Hell yea, because like you said, the combat system is so incredible, I don't think this game could be called a clone of anything no matter what they implement.

All I can ask you, is to come back in 3 or 4 months and give it another shot. Hopefully by then there will be some of those things you want that they said are in the works. If not, whatever, I'm planning on being here still.
