I DID NOT state that other people should do their homework, and thus think what I think, cause I'm just THAT cool. Take a moment to consider that maybe a person isnt really expecting to get what they are asking for something, because they kinda LIKE what they have, or have yet to decide what it's value is TO THEM. Overpricing can have reason behind it. If you can't figure any of these reasons out, ASKING might be more appropriate than some unwlecome, apparently not-too-well-thought-out 2 cents-worth.

Thanks to LADYWOLF, for being the only respondant to be considerate enough to her fellow players to justify rather than criticize a trade offer. And for the record, her line of reasoning is EXACTLY mine, hence the price.

My first contact with Stalksdeath wayyyyy back was from trading, and over the past 1.5 years he continues to be a real gentleman to trade with. He has a terrific reputation with everyone in khyber.

I sincerely hope that the negative posters above are not new to this forum, yet I can't help but think that, because, in the past I've seen many crazy trading threads here (this is not one), but I haven't seen this type of negative attacks on a poster, and such concentration of negativity and sarcasm certainly in many many months. Usually if someone doesn't agree with a post, you see a neutral comment like "that might be difficult to get, but good luck".

All posters should keep in mind the forum rules of keeping trading threads to real discussions about trading, not sarcastic facetious posts or personal attacks. Khyber trading forum has been a positive and pleasant place to visit over the past 1.5 years and I am hopeful it remains so.

Perhaps back when Khyber was Khyber, someone could put up an outrageous trade and no one would comment. But now Khyber is Khyber, and Riedra, and Aundair. On the old Riedra trade forums, it was far from uncommon to see anything from silly comments to gentle chiding... *especially* when the trade request is well beyond anything the known economy would be willing to support. This not only acts as a community-building exercise, it also helps protect newer community members from being ripped off (although I doubt any people new to trading are going to have 2mil pp). At the very least, it's free advertisement.

This thread will seem a lot less troll-ish once we're fully meshed together.

In regards to whomever said all this posting made things harder to read... you only need to read the 1st post...

when the trade request is well beyond anything the known economy would be willing to supportwhat is well beyond other servers doesn't translate into being beyond the existing Khyber economy. I know from talking to some other regular traders that they have gotten "steals" in some trades from those formerly from other servers, and vice versa, because different servers value items differently. Accordingly, perhaps we can all be more open minded and less judgemental in this forum until things settle down.
