I have always thought it was force but Asp said it had no type. Then someone said it was negative energy and that void lore would work. So is it negative engery? or nothing?

It is of the transmutation school, and the damage type is not listed

Correct. And as far as I know, the only items that will affect this spell (aside from potency, metamagic feats, and the usual spell amplification stuffage) are transmutation focus items.

i belive it is of the "Sucks to get hit by it" damage type. you can mitigate it with the "Run like hell" resistance spell.

He means what type of items effects its damage, not its DC. Nullification and Void Lore effect the damage of the spell.

Sorry man, this is false. Potency and Arcane lore are all that work.
