After much contemplation over the effectiveness of posting a guild recruiting thread……..
We have a small guild consisting of 4 active members and are looking to recruit one or two more individuals into our group. Our guilds play style if basically getting through the dungeon as quickly as possible only stopping to shrine and open chest. So if you’re looking to explore, gather collectables or reaching conquest XP than we are not for you. We do the things that any typical power gamer’s guild does; ransack quest, raid and pvp.
We are looking for members that play daily mostly during the evening and willing to show complete devotion for the guild. We prefer members to have reached 1750 and willing to possible create a new character to round out our “main” questing characters. We are currently looking recruits that like to play for Rogues, Bards, Sorcerers or Cleric as their main characters.
If you would like additional details on how we handle certain specifics such as how raid loot is handled please send me a PM.

You might want to state what the name of the guild is.

No offense intended, but you don't say anything about why anyone would want to join such a guild, just things about who you want and what they will be doing for you.
Even if there are advantages (comradary, sharing treasure, reliable questing partners etc..) you don't bother to mention them which kind of puts a bad light on the whole thing.

That also is pointless... resistance is futile, you will be guildimated.

Hmmm and with a beak comes a hard tongue... You may have hit it on the head. They don't want to say it because the guild's name is Super Uber Server Troopers and with no lips and a stiff tongue it would come out:
"Thewer ewer furfer thoofers"
By jove! I think he's got it!

This is the first guild recruit thread I've ever seen garner this much scorn. Shame. I thought it was pretty clear in the OP, small, intimate guild of experienced players seeks same. Bobbyd, I ran with you a few days ago on your sorc, through a solid Gianthold Tor run. You mentioned your guild at the time and I hope that you guys come across some other like minded players who might happen to be looking for a group to join. If you ever need a cleric for any of your runs don't hesitate to look up Erda again. And as far as I was aware, you definitely weren't an octopus. :p

LMAO..btw welcome to the Xoriat mindset. :D Only reason why I mentioned the guild name is because every guild obtains a reputation and when someone looks at the name generally the person is judged by the guild they are in and certain behaviors expected. Figured after this long you guild has gained a reputation and if a good one a person will think that you guys are a good guild and wouldn't mind being invited. I mean I could ask someone to join my guild because we are a family oriented mature guild that loves to have fun which describes over half the guild out there. If I say join Madborn because of the above reasons hopefully most will recognize the quality players we have and decide that is the guild for them. But if you don't want to give your guild name that's up to you, just my thoughts is all.

What is interesting is that they are looking for a bunch of support characters. So here is a guild of power gaming tanks that need support as they rush through quests in hopes of finding uber loot. Hmmm well that sounds like fun!

If you consider sorcerer, cleric and rangers tanks... then we are guilty.
If not, please keep your opinion to yourself unless you are intrested in joiing the guild.

I just enjoy how people with no intention of changing guilds want to come to this thread and give us a hard time.
Just wanted to say thanks.
PS.
We are still looking for 1 or 2 more guild members.
If if your tired of being passed on or underappriciated in your current guild, ready for a change or just want to try us out. Please send me a pm or catch me ingame as Zarri.
Thanks.

I am with Erda, this was a direct post for guild recruitment and you guys are just being down right rude by hijacking. Go bark up someone else's tree and not a guild recruitment thread.
I'll run with you if you ever need a hand and I can shake free for a bit.

I've only had a few meetings with Bobbyd, but from what I've seen he's the kind of person you'd want leading your guild.
Good luck with the start of "The Last Heros" Bobbyd.

What my colorful Xorian friends are saying is, "Tell us more about your guild, and yourself." This is a proven recruitment technique. You will get more quality inquiries if you are open and honest about yourself and your guild.
Every Guild tends to have a little different "flavor" as it were. They have different mixes of casual players, hard core play styles or unifying characteristics just like RPG characters do. They often serve a unifying concept or goal, which can attract some players and repel others.
It has been my experience that the best strategy for a Guild leader is to set a clear, fair system for screening recruits all the time, then giving your officers the authority to screen recruits, and your members the ability to sponsor someone for membership.
In this way, like minded players who fit with your guild's play style, goals and gaming hours can be recruited, and those who will not fit in, can be avoided.
Guild Harmony and Capability are often a battle on the head of a pin, its important to have a thick skin and capable officers so you don't have to do everything yourself.
