What is this - i noticed it in my bank... is this just a collectable? Normally it says "so many wanted by so n so" if that's the case... just wonderin what it is

did you do a gianthold quest, these are gotten out of chests in the gianthold, they have 2 purposes
1. to get you flagged for the reaver raid, you need 20 each of dragon, elf, and giant.
2. The pre raid for the reaver has 3 dragons each has a chest which can drop dragon scales, have 25 dragon scales of the same color and you can get dragon armor. This armor can only be repaired by giving the repairer relics instead of pp

seriously, it's a collectable for the gianthold area (only gotten in quests / rare encounter chests).
You need 20 each of ancient dragon relics, ancient elven relics and ancient giant relics in order to be allowed into the Reaver's Fate pre-raid.
They can also be turned in for armors (as shown in this thread (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=107382))

dragon relics are found in the quests in the 'storms eye' area - prison of the planes, foundation of discord and cry for help.
giant relics are found in the quests in the 'storms heart' area - madstone crater, maze of madness and trial by fire.
elven relics are found in the quests in the 'storms fist' area - the crucible, feast or famine and cabal for one.

i was about to start gathering scales for the dragonarmour.... you say... it can only be repaired by relics?
where is it written?
if true... will be a pain!!! ....

dragontouched armour too, cannot be repaired by mere plats???

nah they changed it so an npc in meridia can repair dragonscale armor for plat, and dt armor has and is able to be repaired by plat.

you only need 9 of each relic to flag now, not 20
